betraitorous[It's a distinct possibility the nurse was somewhat alarmed to find someone dead wake up in her clinic. Not that dead people don't wake up in there all the time, but when they do, they aren't usually still dead.
As in, ghosts.
Demanding to know if she was a witch probably didn't help matters either. Because of course the first thing a ghost assumes, or at least this one does, when they wake up in an unfamiliar place is that they've been kidnapped by a witch so they'll be forced into marrying her.
It's a long story.
He loses his patience with her rather quickly though, and takes off to figure things out for himself instead. At the very least, he's able to gather that he's most likely back up in the living world, since obviously this isn't the Netherworld. In fact, it almost reminds him a little of where he went to high school... but less mazes.
So you may find a red, black, and white glowing specter floating around and through walls aimlessly, with sharp teeth and sharper fingers, made of metal on belted gloves. Especially if you drop by the East Wing arcade room, where he eventually wanders to and stays.
It's these machines... arcade games are very popular where he's from, but a few of these games...
There's something he finds suspicious about them.
Still, congratulations! Your strange island campus is now haunted. Or at least, certifiably so.]
