Found them. They're separated. [Bakura held the ring in his hands, the charms that hung at its sides now pointing in the direction of their targets.]
[Nearby, Malik smirks at the news, his face mostly concealed beneath hood of his purple cloak.]
Good. You take Eleanor, and I'll get Harriet then. You know what to do from there.
[Bakura leers in the direction of his target, smirking.] Understood. It should be easy.
[The Egyptian, in return, turns towards his own target and lets out a small laugh.] Hehe...I'll meet you back at the cave then. We'll lure in Henry and Rosenkreuz once we've got the girls.
((ooc: GENERAL WARNING: there will be violence throughout the threads in this post.))

[The mocking comment is meant to drive home an important point. Bakura has an eternity in front of him. Malik? Malik will likely turn to dust in less than a century.]
Until then, I'm going to have to deny your 'charismatic' request.
no subject
[Still looking a bit smug, Malik drops the discussion, instead getting himself as comfortable as he can as they head out the building.]

He sets Malik down gently on the ground, noting the shelter of the area with approval as he sinks down beside him.]
We need to stop for a while. This place should do.

...Ughh... [He brings a hand up to his covered gash, gritting his teeth.] Even sitting hurts...
no subject
It looks good on you. That look of pain... heheh.
no subject
[It was an empty threat. All Malik wanted to do right now was lay down on his back, but the jungle floor was looking...less than comfortable.]
no subject
He just laughs, darkly, and moves to sit beside him.]
If you need to, you can use me as a pillow. I've slept on the ground before.
...Don't take this for granted, Malik Ishtar.
no subject
[He wants to resist. He really does...but Malik is exhausted, and just wants to sleep a little without his side setting all his nerves on fire.]
Tch. As if I need to.
[Malik will figure out your motivations yet, Bakura. He doesn't need his Millennium Rod to do so either. For now though, he's just going to lay across the uncomfortable jungle floor.
...It's uncomfortable, to say the least.]
no subject
Not for the first time, he feels the start of a dream he won't remember, and he simply sinks into it.]
...wha...t...e...ver...
no subject
It's Bakura's lap.]
THE NEXT MORNING - 1/3
...Mmph... what...?
no subject
[Well, look who'd crawled into the lion's den and snugged up with him.]
3/3
[Sorry if that's a rude awakening, Malik. No, no, actually. He's not sorry.]
no subject
Shut up...
no subject
no subject
Huh?! [He jerks up, immediately regretting the movement as he keels over onto his side with a stifled whimper.]
A-ah...
no subject
[Bakura's mood dims, his voice turning more sarcastic and less sympathetic. ...he's tempted to just poke the injured side to get more of those reactions.]
You're going to need to rest as much as possible; movements like that won't help.
no subject
Didn't that woman give us medicine? Hand me the bag.
no subject
I brought some water along with us, so you can take them right now. Once you're less pained, I'll need to change your bandages.
[And his own. He doubts Malik will help.]
no subject
After that, we need to keep moving. If we go by that mountain over there... [He looks in said mountain's direction, it visible through a gap in the treetops ahead.] ...We might be able to find a niche to stay in, at least at night.
no subject
[He arched an eyebrow at the speed at which Malik had drank that, frowning slightly. Malik must have been in a worse state than he had thought. When he's done, he carelessly tosses the bottle back into the bag.]
Take off your shirt.
no subject
[Malik sort of wishes he had another bottle, but for now he'll just bear the thirst that he was so suddenly aware he had.
Without another word, Malik carefully lifts his shirt up and over his head, placing it on top of the bag so it wouldn't get dirty...dirtier, anyway.]

One hand rested briefly on the ridged markings on Malik's back, just for a moment, before dropping to help the other work on the bandages. Unwinding them and removing the dressing took a moment, but once it was done, he paused to inspect the wound.]
no subject
The wound looks much like it did yesterday, only stitched together. Lisa had applied some burn cream to the area around the stitching, and that had at least taken down some of the swelling and redness of his burns. Other than that nothing looked infected, just the normal, scabby complexion of a healing wound.
Malik looks down to see it for himself, but he grimaces and looks away. As if he didn't already have enough blemishes on his body that he despised, here was one that he could see even outside of a mirror.]
no subject
It looks like it's healing up well.
