ANNOUNCEMENT 005
[The buzzing of an intercom coming to life that you've all undoubtedly have come to know and love can be heard throughout the entire campus again.]
For the record, 'property damage' includes smashing the intercoms I've so graciously provided you all with as a means to communicate with me. In case you hadn't realized.
[She clears her throat.]
Now then, I hope that little blackout didn't keep you all from being productive. Sharpen those minds!
[And then the feed ends.]
Speak to the Voice
General Mingle
Have fun guys, and don't forget to tag the post with your series name!

[Bit by bit, he's wearing down, his arm aching under the pressure of wielding that weapon for a long time. It's exhilarating in its own way. He doesn't need to hold back, knowing as he does that Henry can easily block him, and that even with his lack of skill, the weapon isn't likely to do much damage if he does hit him. It's a type of exercise he's never tried before.
And it's fun.]
Heh heh, call it spite if you wish! I don't feel the need to show any being respect like that! Human or god, they're all beneath me!

As he parries one strike, moving the sword away, he lunges forward, closing what little distance there is. One of his legs kicks hard at Bakura's knee, while the other twists the blade to slam into his chest to force him to the ground.
Before the spirit can recover from that, Henry's boot is on his throat, the sword of the king resting threateningly over the wrist that holds the other's blade, as if daring him to strike out.]
Funny. You seem to be beneath me now.
[His voice is suddenly sharp, cold, and threatening, as if he's genuinely thinking of breaking the bones just under his feet.]
no subject
Why didn't he pick that up faster?]
Kh...
[What a dangerous position to be in. Ryou or no Ryou, this guy might just do it.]
That's right, you're religious... I'd almost forgotten the level of religious fervor people had in your time.

[Henry presses his boot down a little, applying enough pressure to be noticed.]
You became cocky and confident in your superiority... and had I been a real opponent, you would have paid for your arrogance and underestimation with your life.
Never boast about yourself until your enemy lays before you, either dying or subdued. This is your first lesson, Spirit.
[And then all that ice is gone, Henry sheathing his sword and his face relaxing into that calm expression as he moves his foot off Bakura's throat, offering the man a hand up.]
no subject
Tch... Trying to temper my recklessness, Henry?
no subject
[The smile is friendly, teasing even.]

As for you...
[He reaches over and lightly flicks Bakura's nose.]
You are an idiotic student who needs to be taught, at times.
no subject
[He jumps back in surprise, almost falling over all over again. It's almost Ryou-levels of flailing, he's so thrown off.]
O-oy!
[...nope, that's all he can manage.]

Now now. Keep sitting like that and you'll get stiff.

Then what would you advise, Teach?

[Still as teasing as ever, though Henry stretches a bit himself.]
Hm. Now I feel like tea and sweets, myself.

[Grasping his shoulder, he moves his arm, feeling the resistance. He'll definitely need to get Malik to check and redress the burns after that. Even if Henry never hit them directly (smart man, thinking so fast on his feet...) they're still at risk. How annoying.]
Hah, you're telling me you have a sweet tooth?
no subject
[Heh. Bakura actually hit with enough force to make his arm hurt slightly. Not bad at all... if he was a bit less dangerous, Henry might have wanted to push him a bit further and see what he could learn.]
That would be a nice way of putting it, if Eleanor is to be believed. The last time I tried to make tea, she said it was so sweet she nearly choked.
no subject
[Says the man who ENJOYS DRINKING BLOOD.]
But, you've entertained me quite a bit. If you're willing to use that 'fondness' to tolerate me a little longer and wait for me to see to these burns, I'll treat you to some of Ryou's desserts.
No poison, I promise.
