CAMPUS WIDE EVENT: EVERYTHING AND THE KITCHEN SINK
[Hopefully everybody likes waking up outside.
Because as it were, in the middle of the night when everybody had been asleep or lulled into a sudden one by the sheer weight of the air around them...the Campus disappeared in its entirety. Left behind was only the cool surface of the concrete foundation.
For now it seems the residents were left to fend for themselves in the wilderness of the island. Not even the voice from over the intercom would comfort them.]
((ooc: the school has disappeared, along with all the NPCs and everything that was inside! no opt-out areas this time around. The temperature is cool during the day, and colder at night.
The event will last until October 20th, and I'll post a closer to signify it. Everything will be returned to its rightful place then.))

If you're too cold, I can set up a fire. On the concrete, there's no risk of it starting a forest fire or anything.
[He's already looking around for a good spot to set one up. If the building comes back, there's a risk of their being crushed, so the closer to 'center' the better. The courtyard's got less in it to hard them if it comes back suddenly.]

[Oh geeze. It feels weird being without his jacket and deck and duel disk. Whenever this stupid thing ends, he's sleeping with them. All of them.]
Need some help grabbing stuff?
no subject
That reminds me...
[He looks over at him thoughtfully.]
You know, since you've used the Ring, you can probably access that power on your own now. If you felt like it, you could just try it out while I work. Give it a shot; try to draw things closer to you again.

Just do what you did before and instead of focusing on the ring, focus on yourself.

[Focus on himself, huh... Judai stretches some, rubbing his arms again and glancing up to Winged Kuriboh. Well, maybe it'll help him be warm, pulling all the stuff so he doesn't have to move.
Focus on...
Mmm?]

[The surge of power waking up in every part of his body is overwhelming, like an enhanced version of using your arm after it's been in a cast for years. Painful, strange, but feeling right, in a strange way.
Of course, this is nothing so innocent, and Judai feels something strange in the back of his mind, an unknown presence as silhouettes of Burstinatrix and Avian briefly appear in those shifting shadows.]

Holy shit.
[That's about all Bakura can manage as he stares at the prone figure there. It takes him a moment to manage to approach him, the Ring sending out warning signals that were summarily ignored.]
Judai?
[He reaches out to try to shake him.]

For one, they're no longer brown. Instead, his right one is orange and his left one is green.
For two, they're glowing. Faintly, but still noticeably.]
I'm fine.
[He pushes himself up, the shadows sticking to his skin like some sort of liquid that only drips off once he fully stands. There's even something wrong in his voice, too... a strange sort of edge that Judai's never had.]
no subject
The hell...?
[He sounds too serious to be Judai. And that power... and those eyes.]
Why are your eyes glowing?
no subject
I had no idea I had something like this! It's an amazing feeling... it's been there all along, but I never noticed it.
[Judai stretches some, flexes his fingers and holding out a hand. As if bidden, the shadows slink up his leg, focusing in that hand in a tangible form.]
It's like I've been under some kind of blanket all my life... and now, it's gone!
no subject
That's incredible... To have something like that your whole life and just not notice it. No wonder you're acting odd.
no subject
[He calmly reaches over, flicking the Ring. If the warning signals weren't going off like crazy before, they should be now.]
You were messing around in my head and found something you shouldn't have. Ba~ku~ra.
no subject
What? I really don't know what you're talking about, Judai! You passed out because of tiredness, after all. Isn't that so?
[The lightly mocking note to his voice belies his words.]

no subject
You caught me! I was playing around in your body. But it worked out for the best, in the end.
no subject
[Judai casually flicks his hand out, sending the bundle of shadows at Bakura. It won't actually do anything besides maybe stick to him for a minute, but there's a weird sort of... almost nasty grin that looks strange on Judai's face.]
no subject
H-heh... Despite that, you don't seem too happy.
no subject
[He flashes another grin, rubbing his arm a little to brush off the shadows there. The ones near his feet twist and swirl, almost like overeager dogs.]
Or were you hoping for thanks?
no subject
[This feeling of wrongness won't go away as he watches that. The way the darkness itself is responding to this guy... it makes him feel odd inside.]
no subject
[He sneezes, frowning a little at that and casting Bakura a look.]
...Though I guess right now I should be thinking about "fire."
no subject
[brb setting up a fire.
...if he doesn't, he feels like this guy's going to set him on fire or something.
Soon enough though, he has a campfire going that's big enough to keep Judai warm, and that he can make bigger bit by bit.]
Here.
no subject
That's much better! And here I thought we were all going to freeze to death out here.
