CAMPUS WIDE EVENT: EVERYTHING AND THE KITCHEN SINK

[Hopefully everybody likes waking up outside.

Because as it were, in the middle of the night when everybody had been asleep or lulled into a sudden one by the sheer weight of the air around them...the Campus disappeared in its entirety. Left behind was only the cool surface of the concrete foundation.

For now it seems the residents were left to fend for themselves in the wilderness of the island. Not even the voice from over the intercom would comfort them.]

((ooc: the school has disappeared, along with all the NPCs and everything that was inside! no opt-out areas this time around. The temperature is cool during the day, and colder at night.

The event will last until October 20th, and I'll post a closer to signify it. Everything will be returned to its rightful place then.))

Oof! [Malik knocks the pillow away after it's connected, sitting up and glowering down at his partner.]

What's wrong with you? Usually I have to do something to make you this touchy.

[He huffs, slipping off the bed.] And just when I'm feeling better. How annoying...

Idiot! Do you think I did it on purpose?! And if that's the case, blame yourself, I probably caught it off you! Because you got yourself sick!

Feh, well at least you had the decency to get sick after the school came back. That means we can just get you some medicine from the nurse.

[Malik slips on his loafers and heads for the bedroom door, stopping a moment to speak.]

What do you need?

Hell if I know... just ask her for cold medicine, and probably a cold pack. If this is anything like yours, I'm going to need it.

And if she gives you one of those stupid masks, either throw it out or leave it for Ryou when he wakes up.

[Cold medicine, a cold pack...well that wasn't too hard to remember. Malik's about to exit when he stops to look dubiously back.]

What "masks"?

They give you these weird face masks in Japan to stop your cold spreading to others. I don't know if they do it here.

[Malik finally heads out, clicking the door shut behind him.]

[Thirty minutes later with a dufflebag of food and medicine, Malik drops the former off in the kitchen between heading into the bedroom with the latter.]

Oy, Bakura, you awake?

[An annoyed grumble is his only response from where Bakura is curled up under the blankets. He seems to have gotten up just enough to put on his trenchcoat and then pulled every single blanket they had on top of him. He coughs, irritably, and lifts his head from the blanket coccoon tiredly to stare at Malik.

...he looks kind of a mess.]

...You look terrible. I'm glad I didn't try to kiss you, keh keh!

[Malik tosses the cold medicine and cold pack at Bakura carelessly, then walks over to take a seat by him on the bed. He reaches out to grab his mess of hair in his hand, smirking.]

I bet you'll feel a lot cooler if I cut this off~

You looked worse when you were sick.

[With that drained insult, he lets his head thud onto the bed. Right... he should try to take this...

...if he can get it the fuck open COME ON.

Finally he just grabs his knife and slits the packet open, taking the medicine carelessly.]

Bastard... Like hell you will... do it and I'll consider it a betrayal of our oath. ...though it is getting a bit long. I'll deal with that myself.

[Wait, did he really look this bad when he was sick? No way...]

Oy, oy, I was only joking. [Malik releases the hair, shaking his head and flopping back against the mound of blankets Bakura had piled on top of himself.]

It doesn't really bother me.

Mn... You'd better be... [He leans his head against Malik's leg, trying to ignore the flushed state of his own face.]

[He reaches down to run his fingers through that same mop as emphasis.]

[It's soothing despite his headache and he gives a pleased murmur.]

[Malik obliges despite his comment.]

[He doesn't care if you're sick, Bakura, he's going to try and push your buttons regardless.]

[Malik gets up again, smirking down at Bakura.]

I'm going to see if I can't find Harriet. Now that I have my deck, I might finally be able to convince her to work with me.

[You bastard-! He stares up at Malik with something of a betrayed look.]

Fine. Go ahead and abandon me when I need you most. Go play with the stupid bitch. I don't care!

[Tugging the blankets over his head, he whines irritably.]
