CAMPUS WIDE EVENT: I SEE LONDON, I SEE FRANCE~
[Everybody sees everyone's underpants!
By whatever sadistic, poltergeist-like conscious that ruled this place, everything that isn't undergarments has gone missing. Luckily for everyone, tank tops and socks also count as an undergarments, along with the usual.]
((ooc: event will last until the 20th~ available clothing are: socks, plain tank tops, underwear/boxers/etc. and bras. UNDERAGED CHARACTERS DO NOT HAVE TO BE AFFECTED, but if you want to that's fine too.
Have fun, tag your series title, and so on!))

[He leans back against the wall, eying the stranger over. Small, relatively young, nervous... he'd bet he didn't see much danger face to face. Considering the way his jacket had glowed slightly in the blackout, and the fact that his underwear was hot pink, from what little he could see beyond the book, he'd guess he was more used to showiness than he was anything resembling action. But who could tell? When cornered, even a rat could bite. Hell, Bakura himself wore eyeliner, and he wasn't exactly the most innocent of people.
Lifting the book between two fingers, an oddly flashy way of holding it, he offers it without taking his eyes off of Matt. He seems utterly relaxed, as if it's every day to be talking to someone you once threatened to feed to a monster, in your underwear, about vampire lit.]
You look like you've seen a ghost. This what you were looking for?
no subject
The gloss-slicked cover shows the Bloody Canoness standing over a prone Nyte Blayde and Matt's trying his best not to smudge it. It's rather hard to do when you only have one hand available. ]
This is it... Thank you. [ Awkward pause. ] I suppose that's it, then. I-... am sure you'd like to get back to your book.
no subject
Pushing himself away from the wall, he steps past the man as if planning to go right back to the book straight away - only to pause and speak over his shoulder.]
Heh heh... Keep that bravado up and you might get to leave this place intact after all! Why not relax a little? As fun as it might be to play with you, I'm not in the mood.
[...more accurately, he doesn't have his deck. But like hell he's letting that slip out after he fucked with the guy's head so efficiently. The most he'll do is allude to that night, and the fact that yes, he does recognize this guy.]
Stay or go, it doesn't bother me.
no subject
He certainly feels like a bitch but better to be alive and well than six feet underground. ]
I find it hard to relax when-- [ A guy that tried to kill me is walking around within reach, maybe. ] ... t-this school's intention seems to be making its denizens uncomfortable.
no subject
Perching on the edge of the table, he picks up his tea and sips at it, making a face. Damn, it's gone cold.
...
Sigh. Holding the cup in his hand, he wastes a little of his energy to try to warm it up. He doesn't usually do things like this, but he's too lazy to go all the way to the lounge to make more. And it's pretty cold in here.]
I don't blame you. This place likes fucking people over. But when something's so set on doing it anyway, you might as well give it the finger and try to have fun to spite it.
no subject
Perhaps you're right but I find that it's hard to have fun when your girlfriend is light years away from where you currently are, the only working computer belongs to a pompous chucklefuck that is under the impression that he's much better equipped to handle it, and... oh yes, how could I forget? Your life is constantly in danger!
[ Okay, maybe he didn't recover completely. At least his voice was steady. ]
no subject
It sounds rough! But don't you think you're exaggerating a little? This place isn't exactly the height of excitement! Heheheheh...
no subject
Hardly. Where I'm from, we don't have... powers or anything of the like. Here, it seems rather common. Couple that with the fact that this place is keen on keeping its inhabitants on edge by frequently changing our surroundings and prohibiting use of things like computers - well.
no subject
Heheh. It's not so common back at home either! I'm one of a kind. On the pecking order, there's nobody higher. But this place is more of an equalizer for those with powers, as you put it... and less of one for those without. It's such a shame, isn't it?
[Something in his tone makes it clear that he's teasing rather than sympathizing. Resting his head on his hand, he eyes the man over like a tiger debating if something's worth the effort of eating or not.]
What's your name?
no subject
When he's asked for his name, he hesitates. The other person knew just where to find the book when he gave him the title, went straight to it really, so how does he know that giving him his name won't just help the psychopath track him down in the long run? He doesn't. And he can't seem to form a response that would buy him information on the topic without seeming completely obvious.
Wonderful. ]
... I... my online handle is R4GN0R0K. That's what the majority of people know me as.
no subject
Are the numbers really necessary?]'Ragnorok'? [He draws the word out, focusing on the pronunciation.] I can't fault your taste, that's for sure.
I'm Bakura. I don't have an online handle.
But... If you want your makeup back, you'll have to wait until after this place returns my coat. I don't mind offering you the chance to win it back.
no subject
Thank... you? [ He's not entirely sure how to react to that. ] Online handles become necessary when your focus is on acquiring top secret documents, company assets, and other various things through means that aren't particularly legal.
[ Oh. Compliment followed by veiled threats. That's a little more familiar. ]
I-if it's anything like the last game we played, I'd much rather do without.
no subject
[He'll have to take a look at it when he gets back.
But it was interesting. Acquiring secrets like that... that was probably the reason this place had no internet access. It would be rather awkward for whoever ran it if someone with that sort of skill was operating out of here. But why? Most likely, anyone with that sort of power, could just guard their skills easily.
And no wonder this guy felt out of sorts, if his one talent was taken away from him.]
Did my Fiend scare you that much?
[His tone is filled with unreleased laughter.]
It's a pity I couldn't have seen it. Heheheh... I do love the fear of humans so. But suit yourself. I'm sure there'll be other opportunities.
no subject
You say that as though you aren't human.
[ Sure, Matt has always fantasized about being a vampire, running into zombies or something along that train of thought but that's all in his head. If things like that really existed...
'Not common back home'. Oh. Oh. Oh dear. ]
N-nevermind, forget I said anything. I should... probably go now.
[ With both books clutched to his body as though they were lifelines, Matt starts towards the exit. ]
