Strutting along, as he always does.
[Liquid's face told a story. His face was contorted into an expression of pure confusion and moderate anger. How dare he be pulled into this place without his authority! Who had done this and why? He walked along a corridor, wondering where on earth he was. One minute he was at the Shadow Moses Island facility with Metal Gear REX, the next he was here.
Wherever here was. He strutted forward in his long greatcoat. He wore nothing to cover his well-toned chest, but wore a heavy belt secured to his combat pants. He looked like a man who had seen war and a deal of jealousy coursed through his veins. He was a man on a mission. A mission of destruction and vengeance. Liquid Snake ran a hand through his blond hair and let his gaze fall to his feet.]
Why am I here? What purpose is there for me to be here? Well, is anyone hearing this? I demand to know why I am here! [His voice rose in pitch at his last words. Anger denouncing through every word.]

[ Matt's eyes flit to the gun and then back up to the man's face. He holds his hands up in a placating manner, taking one measly step back; he should have looked closer before talking. How did he miss that, coat or no? ] Matt, Matt Miller. I've been here about three months, tops.
no subject
Matt Miller. Well then, Matt. Who is in charge here? Can you answer me that?
no subject
As much as I would like to, no. There is a woman that may know the answer to that though. She speaks over the intercom occasionally and likes to keep things cryptic. I want to say that she's redirecting the feed because we haven't been able to locate her on the premises at all. ... But there's no feasible way to track her; the computers here are next to useless. Even if they were functional, they wouldn't do much good without upgrades - they're practically ancient.
no subject
Ancient computers? Could you show me to them?
no subject
[ 'Could'. How nice, the man's no longer all that threatening. ]
I can take you to them but I can assure you that if I can't get them running, they're a lost cause.
no subject
You might not be able to make them work but I should be able. [He's got an inflated ego and a high IQ.]
no subject
Yes, of course, because the man so gifted at his craft that MI6 recruited him at the young age of sixteen doesn't know his way around a computer.
[ Good enough. He crosses his arms. ]
If you really want to set yourself up for failure, the closest set would be in the lounge.
no subject
Would you mind giving me directions to this lounge?

[ Matt uncrosses his arms and turns on his heel, retreating down the hallway. He will certainly relish the fact that this man will be cut down a notch when he can't fix a computer that should in essence be operational. ]
You'll find that this place doesn't adhere to any sort of rule you've come to expect back home - things that should work don't, things that shouldn't be possible are.
