Strutting along, as he always does.
[Liquid's face told a story. His face was contorted into an expression of pure confusion and moderate anger. How dare he be pulled into this place without his authority! Who had done this and why? He walked along a corridor, wondering where on earth he was. One minute he was at the Shadow Moses Island facility with Metal Gear REX, the next he was here.
Wherever here was. He strutted forward in his long greatcoat. He wore nothing to cover his well-toned chest, but wore a heavy belt secured to his combat pants. He looked like a man who had seen war and a deal of jealousy coursed through his veins. He was a man on a mission. A mission of destruction and vengeance. Liquid Snake ran a hand through his blond hair and let his gaze fall to his feet.]
Why am I here? What purpose is there for me to be here? Well, is anyone hearing this? I demand to know why I am here! [His voice rose in pitch at his last words. Anger denouncing through every word.]

Matt wets his lips nervously. He could supply the man with answers, what little they all have, or he could just avoid him entirely. The second option seems like the best choice but if he were to walk away and the man caught sight of him, who's to say that wouldn't end badly? Steeling himself, the agent speaks up: ]
There's no definite answer, at least not yet. We've been told it's to learn but that seems rather... unlikely.
no subject
Who might you be? [Liquid narrowed his eyes at the man and let his hand stroke over the hilt of his gun. Was this boy responsible for him being here somehow?]
How long have you been here?
no subject
[ Matt's eyes flit to the gun and then back up to the man's face. He holds his hands up in a placating manner, taking one measly step back; he should have looked closer before talking. How did he miss that, coat or no? ] Matt, Matt Miller. I've been here about three months, tops.
no subject
Matt Miller. Well then, Matt. Who is in charge here? Can you answer me that?
no subject
As much as I would like to, no. There is a woman that may know the answer to that though. She speaks over the intercom occasionally and likes to keep things cryptic. I want to say that she's redirecting the feed because we haven't been able to locate her on the premises at all. ... But there's no feasible way to track her; the computers here are next to useless. Even if they were functional, they wouldn't do much good without upgrades - they're practically ancient.
no subject
Ancient computers? Could you show me to them?
no subject
[ 'Could'. How nice, the man's no longer all that threatening. ]
I can take you to them but I can assure you that if I can't get them running, they're a lost cause.
no subject
You might not be able to make them work but I should be able. [He's got an inflated ego and a high IQ.]
no subject
Yes, of course, because the man so gifted at his craft that MI6 recruited him at the young age of sixteen doesn't know his way around a computer.
[ Good enough. He crosses his arms. ]
If you really want to set yourself up for failure, the closest set would be in the lounge.
no subject
Would you mind giving me directions to this lounge?
no subject
[ Matt uncrosses his arms and turns on his heel, retreating down the hallway. He will certainly relish the fact that this man will be cut down a notch when he can't fix a computer that should in essence be operational. ]
You'll find that this place doesn't adhere to any sort of rule you've come to expect back home - things that should work don't, things that shouldn't be possible are.

Sibyll steps out of the shadows to gaze at him in disbelief. Granted, she hadn't thought Snake was lying when he told her about his clone siblings, but it was still so odd, especially from someone whose world has forgotten things like cloning.]
Oh my god... you two really are twins. Triplets. Whatever.
no subject
If you are referring to my brother, we are alike. Yet, not in many ways. Solid Snake can be a tricky serpent to deal with. That much I have found already. Yet, what is a beautiful woman like you doing in a place like this?
I was looking for that doofy codec from Miller about body heat but youtube failed me :(
Trapped, the same as you.
[Now that she's gotten over her surprise, Sibyll gives herself a moment to scan Liquid up and down, not bothering to hide her roving gaze. For just one wicked little second, she suspects she picked the wrong twin to get involved with. Oh well, too late to change things.]
You're not cold?
Re: Haha Master Miller goofy stuff XD
Is that so? How long have you been stuck here, Miss?..[Polite conversation. Why not? He might be able to use this woman for something useful. A possible escape for one.]
/crank calls Millerquid >:D
[With a little, wistful sigh, she glances at the Pip-Boy, the date still firmly stuck at November 28, 2281. Then she turns back up to give Liquid a wry smile. It wasn't like any of this information she was spilling was important. At least, not about the school. Based on what she had heard from Snake, he and Liquid weren't exactly on... speaking terms.]
This place isn't exactly keen on letting you go. There are some other kids who have been here longer, but it's not like they have anything else useful to add.
Re: /pffft/
I don't see why someone would bring us here if there was no purpose involved. It seems a menial existence to be wasted living within this place for nothing. I have much better things to be doing than to be stuck here like some prisoner. [He almost growled the last words.]
What was that you were just looking at?
no subject
[Following Liquid's gaze, she glances back down at her arm.]
This? Oh, it's just a personal computer. Just does basic stuff like monitor my vitals and act as a Geiger counter.
no subject
What makes this place deem me a troublesome person? It doesn't even know what I am capable of. The person or whoever brought me here is a fool. Who is this captor? Tell me about them. [He wants to know right now.]
Geiger counter? Expecting a nuclear explosion are you? [How ironic! REX was sitting back at home all primed and ready to go. Nearly.]
no subject
[Turning away, Sibyll looks bored with the question.]
Nobody knows where our captor is hiding herself. Believe me, if we knew, she'd already be begging for mercy. [Her eyes momentarily glitter with naked blood-lust.] The only time we ever hear her is over the intercoms.
[Still resembling a disinterested cat, the Courier 'accidentally' neglects to answer has last question.]
no subject
Begging for mercy, hm? Do you like having people beg under your command? [Oh, you're pressing a few of his buttons, Sibyll.] I know I do. This captor sounds like a miserable bitch, who needs to get out more.
no subject
And teenage boys for some odd reason.
no subject
This all seems rather.....staged if you ask me. As if, someone planned all of this.
no subject
[She rolls her eyes at mention of the crazed woman who holds all of their lives in her hand.]
