Strutting along, as he always does.
[Liquid's face told a story. His face was contorted into an expression of pure confusion and moderate anger. How dare he be pulled into this place without his authority! Who had done this and why? He walked along a corridor, wondering where on earth he was. One minute he was at the Shadow Moses Island facility with Metal Gear REX, the next he was here.
Wherever here was. He strutted forward in his long greatcoat. He wore nothing to cover his well-toned chest, but wore a heavy belt secured to his combat pants. He looked like a man who had seen war and a deal of jealousy coursed through his veins. He was a man on a mission. A mission of destruction and vengeance. Liquid Snake ran a hand through his blond hair and let his gaze fall to his feet.]
Why am I here? What purpose is there for me to be here? Well, is anyone hearing this? I demand to know why I am here! [His voice rose in pitch at his last words. Anger denouncing through every word.]

[Turning away, Sibyll looks bored with the question.]
Nobody knows where our captor is hiding herself. Believe me, if we knew, she'd already be begging for mercy. [Her eyes momentarily glitter with naked blood-lust.] The only time we ever hear her is over the intercoms.
[Still resembling a disinterested cat, the Courier 'accidentally' neglects to answer has last question.]
no subject
Begging for mercy, hm? Do you like having people beg under your command? [Oh, you're pressing a few of his buttons, Sibyll.] I know I do. This captor sounds like a miserable bitch, who needs to get out more.
no subject
And teenage boys for some odd reason.

This all seems rather.....staged if you ask me. As if, someone planned all of this.

[She rolls her eyes at mention of the crazed woman who holds all of their lives in her hand.]

[Sibyll arches an eyebrow in amusement. The occasional fires in the sky that she sometimes saw were no doubt escape attempts from the more magically inclined, and each time they had failed. No, in her mind the path to escape lay with their captor. Still it would be interesting to see if this new addition had anything to bring to the table.]

And in for a very nasty surprise once he hit his 40s.. It was a shame she didn't have that Codec thing Snake tried to use sometimes. She'd just have to needle Snake about his brother later.]For now she lets her expression drop a little in surrender and defeat at his words. Then she gives him a more demure smile.]
You're right. I'm only one woman and computers really aren't my strong point. I mean, I always thought it was a human on the line, but you think she's actually a computer? Then I'm really out of depth.
Where would you start if you tried to find her?
[Acting so subordinate chewed at Sibyll's pride a little, but she ignored it. After all, it was part of the game, and if she kept at it, he might actually get them out of here. Might.]

I would try tracking down the signal of where the Intercom system is based. There has to be some kind of control centre where all communications are monitored. Surely, someone would have found such a thing out by now? [Was everyone here a cretin?]
It sounds to me as if she is an AI. Not human at all. Just a hunch but I'm always right with my hunches.

[Innocently, she flicks a dial and offers up her wrist. The Pip-Boy obediently displayed nearly all of the school itself and a good portion of the island in detail. It was only the North wing of the school that the automatic mapping failed and displayed nothing aside from the external shape of the hall.
Based on Liquid's behavior so far, she'd certainly get her money's worth chuckling at him as he beat his head against the endless supply of locked doors.]
no subject
Ah...very convenient. [Liquid stared at the device on her arm with some admiration and feint jealousy.] Where did you acquire such a device?
no subject
[She grins at him innocently. It's even true. Sort of. Doc Mitchell had given her his wife's jumpsuit and Pip-Boy, and she had died.]
So where do you think our kidnapper would hide?
no subject
If you killed the man who had this, then it's his loss. It looks a fancy piece of equipment. [He narrowed his eyes at her question and ran a hand through his hair.] How the hell should I know? I've only just arrived here myself. Why don't we look for her, hm?
no subject
Okay. Since you know more about this stuff then I do, you should lead the way.
[It's taking a substantial amount of will to keep her tone even and friendly, instead of the mocking that she so desperately wanted to do. No, just let him find out for himself that this place had no answers. At least, not ones he would be happy with.]
no subject
Damn. Why won't these doors open? Do we need a card key to open them?
no subject
[Eh, she can't resist any longer. Her smile is starting to trade its friendliness for satisfaction.]
no subject
What about shooting the lock off first? [He un-holstered his firearm and aimed it at the lock.]
no subject
Don't let me stop you. Just don't hit me with the ricochet.
[To further shield herself, Sibyll takes a couple steps back and behind Liquid.
Why, yes, Liquid, you are now being used as a human shield.]Also, ammo is pretty scarce here. If you run out, you're going to have to hope that a cache is behind one of these doors, or make your own.
no subject
He stood back slightly, as he fired at the lock. There was a loud bang and a lot of smoke but nothing happened. Liquid grabbed the knob and twisted it roughly.]
Damn! Why won't this open? It should have been a clean shot!
no subject
Huh. Looks like a normal classroom. Wonder if that changes if you can actually get the door open.
[She stands back up and turns to grin wickedly at Liquid.]
One down, 50 or so to go. I'm sure you'll get us all out by nightfall.
no subject
Listen! I know you're hiding something and I'd like to know what. You've been here longer than me and I bet you know how to break out of here and you're just playing along with me. I'm not playing. [He squeezed her arm a little tighter and narrowed his eyes at her with a cold glare.]
no subject
If I knew how to break out of here, do you think I'd still be here? Well, I wouldn't! And that woman, computer, whatever, her corpse would be on full display as a warning as to why you don't try to keep the Courier captive!
[His grip is like iron. With a scowl, she stops struggling, waiting for the grip to loosen so she can make her escape.]
Sure, I was playing with you a little. How could I resist? You made it so easy. [The frown reverts back to a twisted smile for a second.]
no subject
If you say so. How do I know you're not working with the intercom woman and luring me into a trap? [He narrowed his eyes at her with his cold gaze and squeezed her wrist, before letting her go roughly.]
I can't trust you nor anyone else within this place. I have met Ocelot, which is something. What do you mean by Courier? Is that what you really are?
no subject
You're not nearly as charming as your brother, you know.
[Sibyll scoffs at his insinuations.] I don't know how else to prove it to you. Suppose I could list off the various methods I had in mind to take my revenge. I only led you out here just to show you how in the dark you really were about this place. Held out to a little bit of hope that you might actually find something new, but I wasn't expecting much.
[She merely shrugs at his last barrage of questions.]
It's what they call me back at home. They're not far off, 'cept I haven't really been delivering much. I have more important things to do now. Well, I did, until this place decided to grab me.
