MINGLE: LASER TAG ARENA
[Being from Ancient Egypt and all that, seeing the dark, neon-lite laser tag room is enough to make him stumble back in awe. On the wall are vests with a sensor above the heart, as well as a set of guns.
Just beside that is a set of rules that Bakura sure as hell can't read:
EACH PLAYER TAKES ONE VEST AND ITS CORRESPONDING GUN.
DO NOT COVER UP THE SENSOR ON THE VEST.
THE OBJECTIVE OF THE GAME IS TO HIT THE TARGET ON OTHER PLAYERS' VESTS.
WHEN YOU ARE HIT, YOUR GUN WILL TURN OFF.
THE LAST PLAYER STANDING WINS!
Needless to say, he just takes a gun and decides to explore the room.]
((ooc: decided to intro one of the new rooms that I added last week (I'll also add these specifics to the setting page). Anyway, play laser tag with each other, tag around, and have fun! Feel free to handwave your character re-entering the game if you want to keep playing after they've already lost once.
Also, feel free to be a big fat cheater and not play by the rules, if that's how your character rolls! That's the fun of RP, isn't it?))

...and at the very least, she can always just escape to Kai's if she needs a break. But she's already wondering if she's going to regret this choice.
Guilt was a damn powerful thing in the worst ways sometimes. She'll neglect to comment on the "company" part, because she's not sure she can keep it from being snarky.]
Well, there's a full bunk-bed for you to mess with, so you shouldn't have any problems making yourself comfortable.
no subject
[She was too neat for that, wasn't she? Oh well, it wasn't a huge loss to him.]
Then let's at least push the beds together! I'll break down the wood in between and make one larger bed from the two.
no subject
[...He better not be touching her side.]
I don't think there's room for that unless you take my bed, and with all due respect, I have no intention of sleeping with you. In either way. Why not just break it completely and stuff the mattresses together in a corner for yourself?
no subject
[He lifts his hands up in mocking surrender.]
I meant I would take the top two beds, and you could have the bottom two. Understand?
no subject
Yes, I do. All right, then.
no subject
[He jumps to his feet and heads towards the bedroom to get moving.]

Diabound! [The name comes with the motion, and all at once that darkness is back--though much less vicious than before--as his great god-like Ka is summoned. Even with the small bit of darkness now corrupting it, it's nearly impossible to tell.
His Ka looks as luminescent as ever.]

Karasu stares, open-mouthed, at the creature before her, blinking a couple times in amazement. This thing... yeah, she had expected anything brought out by this guy to be twisted and heavy with that nasty darkness, but this thing felt almost... light, somehow.
But no. There's no possible way.]
What is that?
[Her voice is half-dazed.]
no subject
[He says simply, watching as Diabound does his bidding without so much as a word needing to be said. The monster was a part of him, after all. Their connection needed no words.
Soon the bunks are pushed together and the great monster is rising up to tear off the railing between the two top bunks.]
no subject
[She's a bit too stunned staring at this thing to remember if she actually knows what that means or not. This is so utterly surreal...]
no subject
The edges of the broken wood will need to be filed down by hand, but that's not a big deal. His Ka retreats with a dismissive nod and Bakura sits, unsheathing his knife.]
no subject
[She remembers that, now that the whatever that it is gone and she can think clearly again. She walks over to the beds, staying on the ground as she looks up to him.]
How is it?
no subject
[Using his knife, he starts to gouge out the remaining bits of wood so they don't stab him in his sleep. There's a mess of splinters on both beds right now, but they're all on top of the sheets.]
no subject
Well, guess it worked, then.
[...She'll just be checking out the bottom bunks here to make sure everything's straight and it didn't break anything else.]
no subject
...In immediate retrospect, probably not his best idea. Oh well! He rustles all the sheets up and pushes the pillows together, completing his queen-sized bed masterpiece.
...Or should he said king sized?]
no subject
...Not the best, but... it'll do.
Brb, grabbing the vacuum for those splinters.]
no subject
Bakura jumps up and lets out sudden scream.]
no subject
[Karasu quickly switches it off, looking up in surprise.]
What's wrong?!
no subject
What the fuck was that?!
no subject
[Really? What is he, a dog?]
no subject
[He grumbles and disappears back over the railing.]
