CAMPUS WIDE EVENT: JUNGLE FEVER
[Much like last time, the intercom buzzes to life in the middle of the night for only a moment. An annoyed sigh can be heard.]
Oh dear. That's not supposed to happen...
[That's the last thing everyone will hear during the night. But in the morning, they will find themselves surrounded by vegetation so thick it'd be almost impossible to tell that they're in a school if they didn't already know. Vines coming out of the floorboards and covering the walls/ceilings, exotic plants growing out of the walls. Not to mention the wildlife! Just about any animal you would imagine to be in a jungle, dangerous or not, can be found lurking in the school. But don't worry! Not every corner of the campus is infested with poisonous plants and carnivorous beasts. The cafeteria is one hundred percent clear. It seems that the lunch lady's awful cooking is doing some good at keeping the wildlife at bay. In fact, anything that starts to grow anywhere near to doors of the lunchroom dies off pretty quickly!
May want to steer clear of the auditorium, though. The vegetation there is the thickest...and most dangerous.]
((TIME FOR ANOTHER EVENT. Seeing as how this one went up a day late it'll go on until the 19th. Every area is covered in vines, flowers, and animals. Some are dangerous (plants included) and some are harmless -- I'll leave that up to player discretion on what's hanging around. As long as they're plants/animals that would normally be found in any kind of jungle. Remember: nothing too big, it has to fit in the campus! The air is also really humid and muggy. The auditorium will have the bulk of the dangerous animals/plants, and also the biggest!
Lisa the nurse will be around to heal wounds or any poison (the symptoms of the poisonous plants are up to you. It's not a mind altering poison or anything, though), but her office will still be filled with vines and small animals, nothing dangerous. And as mentioned above the cafeteria is all clear and Edna will be around cooking all her awful food. Have fun!))

Met a-- What?? [Miguel's eyes widen, as if he can't even wrap his head around Vulpes having the balls to suggest such a thing.] Are you accusing me of enjoying what you did to me!?
[Just because he has self-destructive tendencies and constantly throws himself into harm's way and also may have a subconscious desire to be punished doesn't make him a masochist!]
[The taller man quickly peers around the room, before looking back down at Vulpes threateningly.] I'm warning you to watch your words..!
no subject
[The fact that Miguel is clearly so outraged by the very idea only helps confirm its truth in Vulpes' mind. The right corner of is mouth twitches slightly, before his expression becomes stoic once more.]
I can only imagine that, had we been in private, you would have allowed me to continue.
[He meets Miguel's gaze with cold blue eyes, indifferent and unconcerned. The Legionary does, however, unfold his arms. He wants to be prepared just in case the degenerate does take it upon himself to attack, if not kill.]
no subject
[Which is why he bristles; furrowing his brow at the man's following words. Now THAT is going too far- even for a joke. Him? Miguel? Allow himself to be pummeled and mesed with by someone like Vulpes? Putting accusations of masochism aside, even- this pendejo is a MAN!]
[With a sneer, Miguel frowns deeply; speaking in a low voice.] Let me make one thing very clear to you. I'm not like that. Whatever YOU enjoy doing to other men in your free time is none of my concern-- but you had better leave my name out of it if you have any love for breathing, comprende?
Because if I hear you speak a WORD of this- of these LIES- to anyone, I swear to God...
no subject
[He drawls, again making clear his disdain for Miguel's threats.]
You've nothing to fear, degenerate. I see no reason to tell anyone else about this.
[There's really no one to tell. Vulpes is happy enough to keep any humiliation he piles onto Miguel private, between the two of them.]
However, [he begins, punctuating the word with a poke to the center of Miguel's chest] If you so much as rest one finger of your dissolute hands on my throat again, I will make sure you sincerely regret it. And I do follow through with my threats, don't I?
no subject
[Miguel narrows his eyes; immediately swatting Vulpes' hand away as the other man pokes him in the chest.] As long as you keep your hands- and words to yourself, I wont HAVE to wring your neck.
But keep in mind, pendejo, that even if I would prefer not to dirty my hands with your blood- that doesn't mean that I'm against making you wish you were dead.
no subject
[Which is why he feels he can keep pushing his luck here. Vulpes had felt a hint of respect for Miguel before, but now... well, he isn't the sort of man who respects anyone unless they can prove themselves powerful or otherwise cunning. Miguel has failed to impress him in either regard.]
Hm... you don't seem the torturing type. You may look the part of a brute, but you far fall short of being intimidating.
[He frowns in mock sympathy.] That must be difficult for you.
no subject
[Exhaling through his nose, Miguel exercises what little patience he has.] I'm going to give you a chance to leave... now.
I HIGHLY recommend taking that generous offer before I decide to shut you up myself.
no subject
Yes, very generous of you.
[However, Vulpes has no intention of leaving the cafeteria. Not while everything outside is a jungle... that's why he came here in the first place.]
Fortunately for you, I'd like to go and continue my meal.
[His throat and chest still hurt, but that isn't going to stop him. He shoots Miguel a last disinterested glance before heading over to back of the cafeteria to retrieve a new tray of food.]
no subject
[Miguel hastily waves the other man off.] Adios.
[Jeez; thought that asshole would never leave. Miguel will just take that as a small victory and turns to walk away himself- to the other side of the cafeteria. He gives his broken belt a passing glance along the way; sighing in frustration as he continues to hold his pants up with one hand.]
[Now that he seems to have lost his appetite, Miguel probably wont be getting a new tray of food himself. Time to wait for this bizarre jungle 'event' to pass- or at least calm down enough to leave.]
