PERMANENT EVENT: A WHOLE NEW FRONTIER
[Surely it was too early for another announcement, right...? But then there it is, that tell-tale electronic feedback screeching through the halls before a mature female voice resonates through it.]
The doors are unlocked.
[That's all she says. Those who are curious might test the front doors...and they'll find that they open not to the seemingly civilized outskirts of town as the now vanished view from the roof may have made you think, but to the horizon. Likewise that barrier and its lies blocking anybody's escape via the roof or sky has collapsed, leaving the air a tad bit...more temperamental. You see, there was weather now.
Out from the front doors of the Campus can be see an expanse of land and then the sea. Anybody who ventures out further will find that they're still trapped, only in a bigger cage. This new cage is now five miles across the diameter at its longest point. The island itself is about as varied as it comes: covered jungles, a cave system, a single stream leading up to a freshwater lake, and a lone mountain near the center. One part near the front of the school is home to a sometimes-pleasant sandy shore ripe for the hunting sea life. Everywhere else is a perilous cliff fall into the sea.
Anybody who tries to escape via the sea will find the riptide tearing them back to a cave near the shore.]
((This event is a permanent setting expansion, you can read more about it here as well as in the island setting page near the bottom here. Have fun, if you have any questions simply address them to the OOC post, plurk, or AIM if applicable, and please don't forget to tag your series!))

When he hears Bakura he shifts his gaze to him, noticing the difference in his eyes and simply how he held himself.]
What do you want? I'm busy. [Busy washing his clothes by sitting and doing nothing.]
no subject
[He doesn't even try to hide the sarcasm, crossing over to hop up onto one of the machines, sitting there and watching him.]
Besides, time passes faster when you're doing things, right?
no subject
What does it look like I'm doing right now? [Things, Bakura. He's doing things.]
1/2
[The word is entirely deadpan.]

Then forget destroying the place. When you find the person behind it, if they're important outside of this place, destroy their reputation. Whether they are or not, turn your hand to their friends and family. Destroy those precious family ties. Those loving friends... break them apart. Rend every bit of joy from their lives.
Then take them captive... bring them into the building and degrade their mind bit by bit through psychological torment. Once they're completely broken, find every single exit, however secret, and seal them off from the outside. Leave the person behind it inside to wander it forever. And make sure there's no way for them to die other than to collapse into regret and starve.
They'll regret it right until they sink into the abyss of death.
...although you could always just torture them to death before collapsing the building on top of them so their corpse is never found, leaving everyone that loves them to paranoidly worry for the rest of their lives.
[Or seal their soul inside of a ballet figurine.]

He certainly planned on ruining the mastermind's reputation though. Oh yes, Kaiba would make sure they could never walk another day on this Earth without the weight of their crimes pressing down on them like a bed of needles. They would know that KaibaCorp was always watching them, and they were never alone.]
... [He actually focuses on Bakura for once, eyes leering like always as he tries to read the other teen for signs of a tasteless joke. Once he decides he's not sure, he looks back to the machine.]
That's funny. I never knew you were a psychopath. Tell me-- [He glances back over.] --Which side of you is the act?
no subject
Oh no, Kaiba. You've made a bit of a mistake there. And that's so rare for you!
[His smile widens slowly.]
Neither of us is an act.
We're not even the same person.
no subject
But no, this was much simpler than that.]
So you're just insane.
no subject
I wasn't born in this body. My landlord and I have simply... learnt to share.
[By which he means "I take over the body on occasion and make Ryou panic in case I murdered someone he loves."]
But you're not the type of person to believe in ghosts, are you, Kaiba?
no subject
Oh no, I just don't believe in things that don't exist. [He says completely deadpan. Bakura was either playing an elaborate trick, which he doubted, or he had a split personality.]
no subject
But make no mistake, Seto Kaiba! I exist, whether you think of me as a ghost or a delusion.
no subject
Finally. [Kaiba stands up, opening the dryer and gathering his things into a neat pile over his arm.]
Now I can leave, and you can go pester somebody else about your personality disorder.
[And now, he heads for the door.]
no subject
...if Kaiba wasn't so ornery, he'd switch hosts just to get to be that height.]
Wait. Haven't you forgotten something? You're the one that got us onto the subject.
If you're not careful, being so relentlessly grouchy is going to give you a stress-related heart-attack.
no subject
I was only after an answer--which I got. I don't have any more use for you right now.
[He turns again to leave.
Kaiba didn't get stressed. OR at least, he channeled those feelings into sheer tenacity. There was no point in getting upset; right now he needed his anger to drive himself forward.]
no subject
Well that's too bad, Kaiba.
Because I still have a use for you... and you're a fool if you think I care about your airs and graces.
no subject
Kaiba keeps his pace, deftly pulling out the object and letting it drop behind him. In an instance it activates, clouding up the area around them with a thick, impenetrable smoke, allowing Kaiba to make his escape.]
no subject
[Some day, Kaiba, he is going to turn you into a three-inch tall Monster World figure until you finally lose your pride and ask to be turned back. Even if it takes decades.
You bastard.]
