Joint Post! Like an Old Married Couple
[From just outside the jungle's trees, near the mountainside, some bickering can be heard:]
Here. It's probably fresher than you'd like, but it's all we have.
...I can't eat that, Bakura.
You don't have the option to be picky, Malik!
No...I really can't, you fool!
Tch... I can cook it a bit more, but we have to be careful, or the smoke from the fire will give us away!
Ughh...can't you find some fruit? Just look up.
Do you want to die? If someone finds you while I'm out looking for fruit, you'll have worse problems than having to eat meat.
But Bakura... [Malik sounds a bit like he might be ill.] My stomach...
O-oy! Hold on a little longer, okay? I'll see if I can find something close by. I'll stay within earshot, so if someone approaches, scream.
Just get a couple...I don't need that much.
Be quiet, you idiot. You need to eat something. [He chomps down on the meat Malik refused to eat.]
Well? I can't eat anything if you don't go get something!
((ooc: So! Tags will come from both Bakura and Malik. If we're going to tag you with both on a turn we'll put a "1/2" in the subject line, otherwise it's just one at a time. Also since the two of them are injured, we just ask that nobody with magic healing powers comes along to heal them up and stuff. Thanks!

Ah... [But no, he understands. He understands perfectly.]
You feel it too Bakura, don't you? This never ending boredom! Sitting here and hiding...I can't stand it.
no subject
[His arm shakes slightly, fist still pressed against the cold floor.]
no subject
I think we'll be suffering a while longer.
no subject
[He's joking! ...mostly. It's a little bit of a cruel joke, but really, he's nothing if not cruel.]
no subject
Don't even joke! If anything, you're already halfway there!
no subject
[Wait, did he just-]
...shut up! My eye works perfectly fine!
no subject
Oh yeah? It still looks all squinted to me. Maybe we should just cut our losses, huh?
[He reaches back, pulling out his scalpel again, bouncing it between his thumb and forefinger.] I can always help~
no subject
[He can't tell if he's serious or not, though he doubts it. So he teases back, watching the scalpel suspiciously anyway.]
You want to give it back to me that badly?
no subject
As opposed to remembering it was his collateral.]
On second thought...I still need it.
no subject
[He really can't tell.]
no subject
Not at first, but...it could be useful.
no subject
It's far more painful to have it forced in on top. I've seen it.
no subject
[Go ahead, Bakura. Just keep providing him with fodder. He'll gladly take it.]
But that still doesn't help us right now. [He really was so bored...so anxious that he could tear something apart.]
no subject
[If Malik were to try to use this, it'd be trouble, but Bakura still doesn't think of him as much of a threat at all.]
Heh. True. There's only so much boredom I can take.
no subject
[But whatever. Moving on, Malik runs his hands through his hair again, gripping the ends.]
Ughh...you can't even imagine how miserable I've been, Bakura! At least you get to do things--I have to stay here and wait!
no subject
Is that so? I guess I should entertain you more, huh? I've been neglecting you a little, huh?
no subject
I don't really care what you do, as long as it breaks up this monotony.
[What would Rishid do, Bakura? CHANNEL YOUR INNER RISHID.]
no subject
You don't care, hmhmhm... Then I guess that gives me free reign to do what I want, right?
no subject
...No, it doesn't. But I'll humour you until then.
[Malik wasn't naive enough to not be able to figure this out. Their conversation earlier erased any and all ambiguity.
He was bored. Intolerably bored--spending days out here, bed ridden. And he was still--though he may not admit it--jealous.
He needed Bakura to stay with him. Without the Rod, he had no leverage. All he had were his wits and his charisma.
And well...maybe...he was curious.]
WARNING: Adult Stuff Maybe
[Lowering his head as if to kiss him again, he instead bypassed it entirely in favour of his neck. The jewellry Malik wore made it difficult, but he wasn't too prone to caring. His lips simply the spaces where Malik's neck wasn't covered and made use of the exposed skin there.
His teeth bit a little less forcefully than usual, tongue lathing over the darkened mark they left with a vague amusement. Hadn't Malik made a joke about blood-drinking before? Heh.]
no subject
[There was always that scalpel if Bakura refused to move, so Malik wasn't too worried.
When Bakura leans in, Malik tenses, bracing for a kiss only to have the paler-man go lower instead, teasing his neck with his teeth.
He shivers slightly, not used to the sensation. It was a slight pain...but not a bad pain. Just a strange one.
No protests so far, though, only Malik's hands coming up to grip Bakura's arms just below the shoulders.]
no subject
Bakura's hand slips down to stroke over Malik's uninjured side, fingers massing the flesh there through his shirt.
How long before Malik starts complaining, he wonders? It's inevitable, knowing him. His hand tugs the shirt up to slip underneath it.]
no subject
He'd knee him if he did that.
When Bakura lifts his shirt to slip his hand under, that cool hand trailing up his side makes him squirm at first. Yes, he was a little ticklish. Don't bring it up.]
... [Suddenly, a thought occurs to him.] Wait. I want to be on top.
[He's not familiar with the slang, but it works out just as well. Because Malik wants to be the one in control.]
no subject
[Oh, he'd been tempted to touch the other side, the way Malik had kept poking his injury. But that would just make things more troublesome, considering he'd already kicked him there earlier.
He takes note of Malik's reaction to the touch for later. Oh, yes, he's interested in how he can make that work for him.]
Besides, the only way you'd get to top me is if you felt comfortable sitting on my dick.
[The bluntly crude joke feels a little weird, but he says it anyway, lifting his head to look down at Malik with a smug grin.]
Hahahahaha! Is that what you want, Malik?!
no subject
Wait, no it wasn't.]
I'll be fine-- [But before he can finish the thought, Bakura makes that tasteless joke. Malik can feel his cheeks flushing, a combination of indignation and anger.
His tone is warning, and suddenly...Malik wishes Bakura still had that injury on his arm. He would dig his nails into it.]
Tch--! I'm a man, Bakura! Don't push your luck.
