ISLAND WIDE EVENT: LIGHTS OUT

[In the later afternoon, with the sun already setting in the sky, there's the sound of something deep within the building powering down. One after another the lights pop off like a domino effect down the hall, with each room following in suite as the electrical outage worked its way through the building.

It only took a matter of seconds for the Campus to be enveloped in complete, inky darkness. Even with the proper time to adjust one's vision, it was still neigh-impossible to see. There was nothing but cold, lonely blindness.

Outside, the sun set...and it didn't rise again the next morning. The only saving grace was the starry night sky and the waning moon too keep the denizens from being completely consumed by darkness.]

((The darkness has come...RUN! Everything's the same, but now both the INSIDE and OUTSIDE of the island/campus are dark. It's much easier to see outside though, thanks to the stars and moon in the sky. Characters are free to improvise light sources, but nothing electrical that needs to plug in will be functioning. If something runs on batteries, it'll last until those die.

[Dark talks as casually as if some crazy spirit hadn't just been yelling at him, wrapping the bandages.]

Ah... Right. Thank you.

[He sits patiently while Dark works.]

[The rest of the work is done in silence.]

There. That should feel better now.

Un! It really does. I'd never have managed it all by myself. I'll make it up to you someday.

You already do enough by being my friend, Bakura. Don't worry about the rest.

[...that reminds him, he needs to put his trousers on. Just a minute, Dark. Because he's kind of... uncomfortable sitting talking in his underwear.]

I feel a little bad, though. If I hadn't left Kaiba-kun and Yugi-kun alone for so long, you two wouldn't have... whatever you did.

Kaiba would have done that whether you were here or not. He's not the kind to hold back on what he wants, no matter how deeply it may hurt someone. He's the kind to only care for himself... such a pity.

[...

He looks stricken suddenly.

Did that mean Kaiba-kun would have molested Yugi-kun in front of him?!]

A-ah... That's true... Kaiba-kun is really selfish.

[adarkjudge]

Go back to sleep, Bakura. It's still dark and will be for a while.

[Dark himself swings back onto the bed, adjusting the puzzle some and closing his eyes.]

U-un. Good night, Yugi-san.

[He relaxes a little, slowly curling up in his seat again.]
