[Event] It couldn't last forever.
[The lights going out had certainly surprised Henry, but he had been prepared for such a thing. He didn't fully understand the "electricity" that this place seemed to have, and thus, lacking that understanding, he had decided to prepare in case it disappeared.
Just like it had now.
Candles in that old-style holder and lit, Henry at least had some visibility despite the pressing darkness. Making sure to store away the others (at least after making sure Eleanor and Jack had ones themselves) he's started off into the Campus, looking for anyone lost in this darkness to help them find their way back to their dorms, or wherever else it was they wanted to go.]

There's two other God cards. Either or both of them together can defeat Ra... but obtaining them would be difficult.
As far as I know, only Obelisk is here... And his owner won't give him up.

So it's imperative we keep Ra from ever appearing in the first place.

Ra can't come out without the other Malik or me. Keep the other Malik away, and Ra won't be a problem.
I wouldn't try to summon that bastard in a million years.
[Though maybe he could use Diabound... Considering its effect. But they'd never agree to that, he's sure.]

[Wars and betrayal and twists and demons and turns... so much has happened in such a short time for Henry. It would be dizzying to anyone else.
After a moment, as if in afterthought:]
Thank you.
no subject
[He looks honestly blank. As far as he knows, all he's been doing is talking. It's hardly an effort.]

[Henry's reply is somewhat snide, but he otherwise lets it drop, thinking again. He can feel the comforting presence of his monsters, closing his eyes a little with a soft exhale.
After a moment, something occurs to him.]
Do have that dagger on you?
no subject
[He looks over at him curiously, wondering if Henry really does expect him to give it back.]

[Henry shifts his cloak and the coat over him to obscure the front of his body so Bakura can't see what he's doing. He slips the sheath out of the holder under his armor, fingering it for a moment before shifting his hands back out, tossing it towards him.]
Catch.
[It's a different type of sheath, clearly meant for a weapon that's supposed to be concealed and colored similar to the leather armor Henry wears.]
no subject
[Catch it he does, though it surprises him to see it. His first thought is suspicion - What? Does he think he can boost the terms of the deal? - while his second is more curiosity. It's a good sheath. Drawing the knife out of its concealed position (he'd used some of the extra bandages to bind it to his leg in the meantime), he slots it inside. If Henry's looking, he'll see the blade looks like it has been kept well apart from the lack of a sheath.]
Oy, oy... If you keep giving me presents, I might never let you go, Henry-kun. You're going to make me fall for you. ♥
no subject
...the flirting, however, gets a quirked eyebrow, and he looks like he's having to hold back laughter.]
Sorry, Bakura, I don't take lovers from the enemy... and you'd have to fight Jack for the position even if I did.
no subject
[He grins a little, to show he's teasing - mostly.]
no subject
[The sociopathy kind of is. But Henry closes his eyes, falling silent now to just let the fire crackle. This would almost be relaxing... if not for the idle lion close by him.
His hands shift under the coat and he takes something into his hands, murmuring something too soft for Bakura to catch.]
no subject
[He watches Henry curiously.]
What was that?
no subject
[He glances over, however, shaking his head some.]
For one, it was simple jesting, and there's no need to be so frantic over that. For the other... well, if you intend me to get religious, we're all sinful regardless. And for those of us who aren't hellborn -- [It's half-joking] -- that's a problem that will be with us for our lives. Pleasure rarely comes around, love even less so, and both even far less in a way that can be properly held onto. So if that happens to be the case for one, it hardly changes much, does it?
no subject
[He sounds more amused than anything. Turning away a little, he stares at the flames thoughtfully. People really were strange.]
I won't argue. I can't understand faith any more than I can understand friendship. Gods or devils, they're all the same to me.
no subject
[He glances over as well, then looks to the fire himself.]
Heh. One day, perhaps.
no subject
[Praying for an end to the darkness? How pointless... He draws his legs up to his chest thoughtfully.]

Even if I were to attempt to pass on to the afterlife, I couldn't. It's forbidden.
Not that I'd want to. I don't care about Gods...

Apart from the first, that I'd never pass the test of heart and would be consumed...
My body is neither intact, nor preserved... And I don't have a name. Without a name recorded somewhere, I'd never have a chance of redemption.
And my name was stricken from all records three thousand years ago.
