[Malik had found something while looking through the East Wing. Just what that "something" was becomes apparent when an engine roars to life, and the skid of tires on tiled flooring echoes through the halls.

Sure...sure, he could just walk his new bike outside...but where was the fun in that?! This wasn't an ATV, and it likely wasn't going to fair well in the spotty terrain outdoors...

So he's just going to take a few smooth-riding laps in the halls before he goes to test it outside.

When somebody gets in his way, he rears the bike back onto one wheel, skidding a few feet on the floor before the front tire slams back down and he comes to a stop.]

What, are you trying to get yourself killed?

[That pulls Malik out of his surprisingly virtuous thoughts. His eyes snap back to Bakura's now, notably unamused.] ...

Hhf. [Malik adjusts his head against the pillow, shutting his eyes.] No, you're just a fool. I thought you should know that.

I was joking. It's what I do. You should know that by now. Being serious too often isn't my style.

I know that. But I'm not the same as you.

[If he wasn't enjoying being a manipulative or sadistic bastard, Malik was fairly serious. Or at least he would consider himself as much.]

[Yeah sure, Malik. Whatever you say. He just nestles into the bed, thoughtfully.]

Fine. I'll try to be serious, just for you. Even if I do like the way you look when you're annoyed.

[Sure, Malik knew what Bakura meant, but where was the fun in that?]

[He scoots closer, leaning in with a devilish smirk.] Kehkeh...is that what you like?

[Inching towards the edge of the bed a little now. He doesn't approve of that smirk.]

Oh? But you just said "I like the way you look when you're annoyed"!

[Malik scoots closer still, cornering Bakura against the railing of the bunk bed.]

I didn't mean it like that! Just because your face twists so prettily, that doesn't mean I want something like that!

[Malik lets out a little laugh, draping his upper body over Bakura possessively.]

...Too bad. I kind of looked forward to the idea.

[fluffydeathdealer]

...tch. If you had an interest in that, you only had to ask!

[He scoffs, not minding the closeness or possessiveness at all. Honestly, Malik...]

I'm not afraid of pain.

No, I was just joking. [Remember how he'd said he was serious just a minute ago? Yeah.]

If I was going to do something like that...kehkeh. It's really only for people I want to see suffer.

[He glances pointedly down at Bakura.] Or for people who annoy me.

Didn't you just now claim to be serious?...

[He sighs in irritation.]

Just don't take your annoyance out on my host. If you're going to inflict pain on this body, do it while I'm in control. Understand?

... [The look he shoots Bakura dares him to mention that hypocrisy again.]

I don't plan on doing anything to Ryou. He's annoying in a different way.

[Malik shifts a bit, eventually slipping off of Bakura so he can rest against his chest instead.]

[Looping an arm around Malik's shoulders, he grins a little.]

I guess that just makes me special, huh?

Tch, don't get so full of yourself. It doesn't matter what you are.

If it doesn't matter, then why claim me as yours? Heheh...

[Malik reaches up, placing his hand over the Millennium Ring.] You were mine the day I placed my soul fragment inside of you, of course I had different intentions back then...

...tch! Idiot, one soul fragment isn't enough to claim possession of me!

No? Well it doesn't matter now, does it?

[He jingles the Ring back and forth on his index finger, snickering again.]

[Bakura's eyes narrow at that.]

And just why is that?

[obeytherod]

Whether it was or wasn't, I still have possession of you now. [He clamps his hand around the object as emphasis.]

And just what gives you that impression?!

[He looks flustered, resisting the urge to just knock the Ring out of Malik's hand by an inch.]
