Duel 002: Peaceful Days! The Fluffiest Training Montage Commences

[It's a bit of a pain, being in a school with no teachers.

Ryou Bakura isn't the type of kid who really likes being too active; he's about on the level of most ordinary teenagers. But after being laid up for so long with the burns to his arms and leg, not only is he extremely restless, but he's sure even his metabolism won't hold up much longer, with the amount he eats. That's why, after checking to see that Henry isn't home to take him up on that training offer, he's decided to try treating this like school and taking an hour or so to do his very own gym class, all by himself. It'd be easier with teachers, but... he doesn't have a choice right now.

Most kids probably would just take the break and be lazy, but right now, Ryou's working hard. Apart from the occasional break, he can be found pretty easily in the east wing, dressed in gym clothes and doing everything from running laps on the track field to climbing ropes.

...though that last one is more like 'falling off ropes'. Stupid mats... they don't cushion that fall at all. Hopefully nobody's dumb enough to stand below him.]

Ow...

[Time for a banana and some water, he thinks.]

Ah, I'm so tired...

... [But didn't Ryou just say he didn't like it when his body was used without his knowing? There's no way this boy felt "appreciated" knowing he used him.]

...Anyway. [Malik sits there, unmoving.]

[Hey, the way Malik apparently liked his body was sort of flattering?]

R...right...

[He's really regretting his suggestion already... But if Malik wants him to make the first move, he will. He leans forward and presses his lips to Malik's slowly, almost shyly.]

[Malik presses back against those lips, noting their familiarity, but also...the unfamiliarity in how they felt when Ryou was in control. For a moment he doesn't do anything, but soon enough he starts to cautiously move his lips against Ryou's.]

[How strange... it felt almost pleasant. That soft warmth. The heat of Malik's breath. The tentative movements that came after that first moment. Not knowing much of what to do, he let Malik take the lead, mimicking his movements a little to see how it went.]

[Malik was used to casual kissing by now; he did it with Bakura enough. So once he stops concentrating on the fact this was Ryou, it's easy for him to relax and slip his hand onto the other's waist. Soon enough he goes a step farther, tilting his head so he can kiss Ryou more easily than before.

He enjoyed the sensation, and...it was interesting to feel that tentativeness in Ryou's movements. Bakura tended to be a bit more firm, if dominate in his actions.]

[He squeaks a little at the hand on his waist, but doesn't push it off. Just as long as Malik doesn't let it go further, he won't mind. It's not a bad thing to do, for a joke. It's almost comfortable, in a way.

...though he suspects this is one thing he won't be telling Henry about. He awkwardly settles his hands on Malik's shoulders, trying to get used to it.]

[Once he's done mentally comparing the two's kissing styles, Malik begins imagining the look of fury on Bakura's face once he tells him about how his little "prank" backfired.

As much as Malik was genuinely enjoying this kiss, he has to stop once he starts snickering too much to continue.]

[Sitting back, he rubs the back of his head awkwardly, trying not to giggle.]

That weird, huh?

Actually, I was just imagining the look on Bakura's face...

Keh keh keh...

[He licks his lips now that it seems they won't get back to it.] That wasn't bad at all.

It wasn't...

[A serious nod, despite his surprise. For Malik to admit that was sort of embarassing, and it's more so for him to admit it.

...he wonders if it's just the kiss itself that felt good, or Malik? Hard to tell... he might have to experiment with this.]

He's going to be pissed.

It's unfortunate you won't be able to see how he takes it! Oh well...I'll make sure to tell you later.

[Malik gets up, setting his eyes on the bedroom.]

Now...what else?

[Following his gaze, Ryou grins a little.]

I'm thinking pink. Also we should get a little sign on one of the beds with his name and make it as fluffy and cute as possible.

Pink? [His eyes turn back towards Ryou, not quite understanding.] Why pink?

[All things considered, before he went to Japan...he was mostly used to seeing various shades of brown, black, gold, and purple. With some teal and blue thrown in.

On top of all that, he was quite fond of lavender.]

Ah! It's a prejudice.

[Ryou grins a little, before deciding to fill him in.]

See, people associate 'pink' with 'girl', these days. I don't think it's all that old a tradition, but it's pretty common now. 'Bright and pink' usually means 'girl'. While 'somber and blue' means 'boy'. So people get really riled up about pink being girlish.

[Hearing this concept for the first time, even if he had seen glimpses of it in Japan, was pretty disorientating.]

...But what about all the other colors?

They don't really have genders at all! It's weird, but it's just those two. Though things leaning closer to either side tend to get the same reputation sometimes. Like how people think a man has to be gay to wear lavender!

[obeytherod]

...That seems trivial. I don't get what color has to do with anything like that.

[Although, speaking of the color of his vest, he does glance down at it.] I just like lavender.

But you are gay, right?

[obeytherod]

What? No! Why was Bakura surprised too...?

I like women.

[fluffydeathdealer]

...but you kiss men. And, uh.

[No, not commenting on his looks. Pot, kettle, etc.]

I dunno, I just somehow... thought you were the type to stick to one gender. Sorry.

[Malik waves a hand, dismissing the matter. It didn't really bother him either way.]

It's fine. Anyway...I had a better idea! [And if that grin has anything to say about it...it's an awful one!]

[That grin sends a chill down his spine and he smiles.]

...eh? What is it?

[obeytherod]

He didn't seem so keen on getting a haircut the last time I mentioned it...keh keh keh.

[Malik pulls out the Rod and unsheathes the blade beneath.]

[fluffydeathdealer]

ABSOLUTELY NOT!

[Nope, backing up to the fridge right now.]

Put that away, Malik-kun! I'll let him out if you try it!

Oh come on! [He exasperates, dropping the Rod back to his side and rolling his eyes.]

Not you too! Think of how mad he'll be...it'll be funny.
