CAMPUS WIDE EVENT: EVERYTHING AND THE KITCHEN SINK

[Hopefully everybody likes waking up outside.

Because as it were, in the middle of the night when everybody had been asleep or lulled into a sudden one by the sheer weight of the air around them...the Campus disappeared in its entirety. Left behind was only the cool surface of the concrete foundation.

For now it seems the residents were left to fend for themselves in the wilderness of the island. Not even the voice from over the intercom would comfort them.]

((ooc: the school has disappeared, along with all the NPCs and everything that was inside! no opt-out areas this time around. The temperature is cool during the day, and colder at night.

The event will last until October 20th, and I'll post a closer to signify it. Everything will be returned to its rightful place then.))

Oh, another thing! Those rocks are pretty sharp, h-hehe~ If you knock them over, they might kill you.

[Making a sweeping gesture from his seat.] Think of it as incentive!

[...You're lucky she doesn't want to actually hurt you, or she'd swing her tail for that. She's pretty sure rocks can't get through these scales, thanks...

But she's being careful anyway, trying to feel her way through the cave. One branch causes her to stop, a claw going out to feel around. Yeah... that's too small for her to get through. And it's too tight for her to turn around.

Beep beep. Backing up dragon now! ...and she ends up sending another shower of rocks by smacking into the wall too hard.]

--?! Didn't I tell you to watch what the fuck you're doing?!

[Bakura jumps to his feet at the slight cave in, pressing himself back against the wall to avoid a few rocks that would have otherwise hit him.]

[There's a sound from her that he could easily be mistaken as apologetic, but is half snickering too. She may have to rely on this guy not to die, but that doesn't mean she won't take pleasure in the jackass getting jumpy.

That done, though, she's tired of smacking into rocks, so she gets out of the damn cave, at least managing to avoid causing any more collapse as she shakes the rocks and dirt off. Bleh.]

[Bakura follows her out into the open, brushing off the back of his robe and bear's pelt as he does.]

Well, you failed that test miserably. Maybe I should just let your Ka consume you after all...it's probably not worth the effort!

[moderndaydragon]

[Karasu turns her head, bringing it down to Bakura's level and roaring loudly. The message, she hopes, is clear.

If the Ka devours her, he's the next one on the menu.]

[Bakura stands rigidly at the roar, doing little more than narrowing his eyes due to the wind as his hair and loose clothing are blow back.

His expression remains cold thereafter, even as he reaches out to grab her head by the only handhold available--her nostril. Unable to actually tug her head forward, but tugging at it nonetheless, he leans in to mutter darkly against her snout.]

Remember who's helping you here!

[In response to that, she tears her head away, not caring if it sends him tumbling. She growls in response to that, giving him a pointed look.

You just said you weren't, asshole! Don't moodswing on her!]

[He managed to let go and pull back in time to stop his own fall, having predicted her recoil. Other than that he just whips his hand a bit to "clean" it.]

I only have so much patience--don't wear it out!

[moderndaydragon]

[She blows at him irritably, barely resisting the urge to whack her tail against the ground. This guy... what in the hell was wrong with him?

Right now, all she wants is to just fly away. Or turn back, even. But as much as she's starting to hate Bakura, if he is right about this -- and why wouldn't he be? -- she can't just run off. And after that growl in his own voice...

She ends up just laying down with her back to the cave, bringing her tail to wrap around her and rest her head on, wings tucked against her back.]

Don't lay down! [He barks in irritation, stomping over to her and digging his sandals into her leg as he pulls himself up her back, coming to sit between her shoulder blades above her wings.]

We're not done yet... [Bakura lets out a low, disturbing chuckle, running his hands over the neck in front of him. What a powerful beast this Ka--this girl--was!]

I have something much more manageable for your next lesson.

[She twists her head to look at him irritably, but nearly jumps as he gets on her back, snapping her head up to look at him. The hand along her neck gives her a creepy vibe, and she resists the urge to throw him off just for that. The look in her eyes is definitely one of displeasure, though.

There's a frown clear even on her muzzle at the "next lesson" part, though. He didn't want her to fly with him on her back... did he?]

[Hey Karasu, guess what--] I want you to fly a lap around this island! Let's see if we can't find some familiar faces, hmm? And maybe some breakfast while we're at it.

[moderndaydragon]

[At that, she growls in something like a sigh and holds her claw up, trying to indicate him to slide off into it.]

[Bakura ignores the hint entirely and tries to egg her on, like a spoiled child.]

Come on! I don't have all day! I have things to teach you in the sky as well, you know.

[moderndaydragon]

[She snorts at that, shifting to point at the claw with her other one. Get in the goddamn claw, you douche! Is she going to have to transform just to explain this to you?]

Tch--I'm staying right here, now go!

[moderndaydragon]

[...It looks like yes, yes she will. So Karasu will be reverting right here, and right now!

The problem that she realizes a little too late is that her changing generally tries to keep her center and the dragon's center in roughly the same spot... which means she's suddenly buried under a lot of heavy Egyptian weight.]

Guh!

[A lot of Egyptian weight. His body mass on top of his heavy clothes and bear pelt made him far from light. The unexpected fall didn't help either, leading him into a slight flail before faceplanting right into something...soft!]

Ughh... [Nuzzle...

He tilts his head to get a look at where he is, his vision obscured by two smal mounds.]

You stupid little-- [Oh, wait a second. His irritation certainly can.] H-hehe...HAHAHAHA!

Huffh...

[Oh god, that hurt. All the breath got knocked out of her and she's pretty sure she's going to bruise, ug. She can feel the nuzzle against her chest, but she's a bit preoccupied with trying to get air into her lungs to gripe at him about that.]

[Once he's done yucking it up, Bakura plants his hands against the dirt and pushes himself up. He straddles Karasu's waist for one extremely brief and awkward second before standing over her with an ever smug smile.]

Are you done whimpering yet?! We have things to do!

[moderndaydragon]

[She sucks in a breath, about to say something when she gets a look up that skirt and oh god why.

...actually, he's not that badly hu-NO STOP IT. She covers her eyes, giving an exasperated noise and shaking her head.]

Why don't you wear underwear?!

[stealshinies]

Eh? [Totally casual about it Bakura just stays where he is.] H-hahaha! What's with that shocked expression, is the future that prudent?

Enough about my dress, I want you to transform back into your Ka!

[moderndaydragon]

[She sits up, rubbing her face and sighing.]

What I was trying to say was that you can't ride on me if I'm going flying. I haven't gotten a feel for people sitting on my back, so you could slip off and fall and I wouldn't notice. The only time I've ever flown with someone, I carried them in my hand so that I knew they wouldn't fall.

Is that it? [That was an actual concern, although Bakura didn't show it, and he even spoke condescendingly.] If you're so worried, then the most we need is something to fasten around my waist and your neck.
