CAMPUS WIDE EVENT: THE LANGUAGE BARRIER REINSTATED

[Today, something somewhere went wrong. On the evening on the 15th, any bilingual (or otherwise) knowledge granted by the Campus has simply...disappeared. At least for anybody walking by the North Wing.]

((ooc: So! For the next 5 days (the 15th~20th), your character officially only knows their native tongue. Aka, whatever language they primarily grew up with. They can no longer read, speak, or understand any other language but.

For fun you can even use Google Translate to show what your character is speaking at a glance! Don't worry, we all know it's probably gibberish :P

If you go the Google route, please be sure to put a translation at the bottom. If not, then please take care to specify what language your character is speaking in at the start of every thread.

[He narrows his eyes at her suspiciously.]

[She blinks, tilting her head confusedly. She has no idea what's up with him.]

[He lays down to mimic her pose, his expression unchanging.]

(What?)

[She just looks even more confused, now.]

[He reaches out, pinching her cheeks and forcing her to smile, all while leering.

Cheer up, Karasu, because you're boring like this! And there's few things he hates more than being bored.]

[She blinks at that, looking utterly baffled as hell. What... was he even...

She just stares for a moment, then tries to smile, but it's as glum as it was before.]

[Bakura grumbles, letting go of her face and rolling onto his back. He folds his arms behind his head and lays there to stare grouchily up at the ceiling.

It was frustrating...her mood, their inability to communicate--not just with her, but with everybody. What if things were stuck this way?]

[Karasu just stares at him a little, breathing quietly. After a moment or two of this, she shifts over suddenly, resting her head and shoulders on his chest and closing her eyes.

In all honestly, she expects to be immediately shoved off. But while the game did help with the distractions, Bakura trying to figure things out forced her a few steps back, so right now being close with someone is a very, very inviting prospect.

Even if she is expecting to taste the floor at any second.]

...Eh? [His fingers tense, hidden behind his mess of white hair as Karasu suddenly half-drapes herself across him.]

H-heh heh... [It takes all his will to not start laughing more than that. Was this how low she really felt right now?! Looking towards him, of all fucking people, for comfort.

Who did she think he was? Well, if she wants him to be affectionate so much that she'd go as far to by lay on him like this, then he'll be happy to oblige...by scratching her head like a dog's.

She's the one acting like one, after all. Now who's a good Karasu~?]

[When the petting comes instead of the shove, she's more than a little surprised. A part of her is irritated that he's treating her like a damn animal, but the rest, at present, just doesn't care. She'll take it.

...and it wasn't like it felt half bad, anyway. She mumbles something that sounds like it's at least supposed to be thanks.]

[If she was irritated, she brought it upon herself! Of course from his position, he can't really tell. As far as he thinks, she seems to be eating it up.

Sighing and puffing his cheeks, he glances around the room. Something to do... This was funny, but he was already starting to feel bored. Her face was nice and warm against his chest, which only made it irritating when he remembered she was too prudent to do anything.]

[Karasu had never bothered to actually turn off the game, and the controller's in reach, if the Thief King is so inclined.

This is honestly a lot more comfortable than she thought it'd be. She can actually hear his heart-beat and everything, and it's weirdly calming, even considering who she's on.]

[Don't mind the slight shift to get more comfortable here.]

[That'd be a little difficult, considering he was facing in the wrong direction for the TV, and moving would disturb Karasu. Not that he cared.

[The sudden cop a feel has Karasu sit straight up, hands braced under her (which would be on his chest) and staring at him with an expression somewhere between shocked and confused.]

[She really should be offended, she thinks, but it's like she's already got too much emotion swirling to add onto it.]

[Well that was an abrupt end! Bakura raises his hands in an apologetic, faux as it may be, manner.]

H-heh heh heh...oops! [She should be able to understand that much.]

[She does, and she gives a bit of a sigh in reply to it, shaking her head a little. She pushes off him, sitting on the floor now and running a hand through her hair.

Sheesh, Bakura...]

[As soon as she's off him, he rolls over onto his stomach and folds his arms in front of him to rest his cheek.

He just looks at her with the biggest shit-eating grin, kicking his feet behind him like some gossiping teen girl.]

[...She can't help it, but looking like that makes her giggle, a little. She flops onto her back beside him, lacing her hands behind her head to try and mimic the pose she's seen him lay in before.

... [He flicks his tongue out to lick his lips, wondering if he ought to try again. She didn't seem to take it that badly.

If anything, it'll be funny to see the look on her face when he mimics her own actions from earlier--flopping his head and shoulders into her chest. Well, more just his head, he might crush her otherwise!]

[That gets about the same reaction, along with a slight jump in surprise at the sudden weight. Her hands pull out from under her head, but just sort of hover in the air, Karasu clearly not entirely sure if she should shove him off or not.

On the one hand, he's a few breaths away of motor-boating her. On the other... she did lay like this on him.

After a few quiet moments, she seems to decide not to, and just moves to rest one beside her and the other on his back.]

[That was promising. She even put a hand on his back in some stupid, affectionate gesture. It felt nice there.

He didn't care for it at all, but if it meant he could have a little fun he'd embrace it. Bringing his arms up, he nuzzles against her chest and closes his eyes.]

H-heh hehe... [Such soft breasts, and soft skin...]

[Okay, this is just getting weirder and weirder. Even if it's not exactly the most innocent of gestures, the fact he's showing even any sort of affection or want of it is just utterly baffling.]

[And now she has even less idea about what to do here. Her face is definitely deepening a few shades, however, as she turns her head away and uses her free hand to run through her hair almost nervously.]

[He peers up at her, eyes mostly hidden behind his fringe as he tries to gauge her reaction. Yes, no...? It was hard to tell, so he'll just rest here a moment.

It was comfortable anyway, and the slight beat of her heart was...soothing somehow. If a little exciting when he thought about it. Blood and life--it was easy to extinguish! It was disgustingly fragile.]

[The fact that he hasn't been shoved off yet attests that she's at least willing to tolerate it. Even if her heart is beating faster out of embarrassment and some discomfort, considering the awkwardness and oddity of the situation.]

[Yeah, it has nothing to do with anything, especially since she can breathe fine with just his head, but she feels the need to say something.]
