CAMPUS WIDE EVENT: JUNGLE FEVER
[Much like last time, the intercom buzzes to life in the middle of the night for only a moment. An annoyed sigh can be heard.]
Oh dear. That's not supposed to happen...
[That's the last thing everyone will hear during the night. But in the morning, they will find themselves surrounded by vegetation so thick it'd be almost impossible to tell that they're in a school if they didn't already know. Vines coming out of the floorboards and covering the walls/ceilings, exotic plants growing out of the walls. Not to mention the wildlife! Just about any animal you would imagine to be in a jungle, dangerous or not, can be found lurking in the school. But don't worry! Not every corner of the campus is infested with poisonous plants and carnivorous beasts. The cafeteria is one hundred percent clear. It seems that the lunch lady's awful cooking is doing some good at keeping the wildlife at bay. In fact, anything that starts to grow anywhere near to doors of the lunchroom dies off pretty quickly!
May want to steer clear of the auditorium, though. The vegetation there is the thickest...and most dangerous.]
((TIME FOR ANOTHER EVENT. Seeing as how this one went up a day late it'll go on until the 19th. Every area is covered in vines, flowers, and animals. Some are dangerous (plants included) and some are harmless -- I'll leave that up to player discretion on what's hanging around. As long as they're plants/animals that would normally be found in any kind of jungle. Remember: nothing too big, it has to fit in the campus! The air is also really humid and muggy. The auditorium will have the bulk of the dangerous animals/plants, and also the biggest!
Lisa the nurse will be around to heal wounds or any poison (the symptoms of the poisonous plants are up to you. It's not a mind altering poison or anything, though), but her office will still be filled with vines and small animals, nothing dangerous. And as mentioned above the cafeteria is all clear and Edna will be around cooking all her awful food. Have fun!))

I don't recall agreeing to a fistfight.
[Unfortunately, he's unable to dodge out of the way of the next punch in time. His armor cushions the blow somewhat, but his ribs still creak under the force and his breath leaves him temporarily. There's most likely going to be some heavy bruising there later.]
Hm-
[Recovering his breath, Vulpes throws a rather clumsy punch to Miguel's face, anticipating that the degenerate will rightly avoid it by ducking out of the way. When he does, the Legionary uses his other hand to grab a fistful of his opponent's rather abundant hair, aiming to hold him in that leaning position so that he can drive a knee into his face.]
no subject
Guhk-! [There's a distinct crunching noise as his nose is harshly smashed- but again, while the average person might have had their nose outright rearanged by a direct knee to the face, Miguel's only seems to be reddened with small droplets of blood escaping a nostril as he pulls back. Of course the strike also causes his eyes to water slightly, but Miguel doesn't let slightly blurred vision prevent him from retaliating.]
[The Spaniard goes to force Vulpes' hand away from his head- ignoring the way some strands of his hair strain and rip within the other man's grip. He clenches his teeth at the pain and then goes to swipe Vulpes' leg; aiming to knock the other man off balance and throw him to the floor.]
no subject
[He tries to keep a tight grip on his opponent's hair, but the man successfully removes his hold. That puts him off his guard momentarily, which is enough for Miguel to knock him off balance and down onto his back. Vulpes tries to take advantage of his unfortunate position by aiming to drive a booted foot right against one of Miguel's knees.]
no subject
Now now... [Miguel sneers; forcefully pulling Vulpes closer before crouching to hold the man's legs down long enough to crawl over his fallen body. Miguel straddles the thrashing man; going to pin him down by one shoulder while the other reaches up to wipe at the blood dripping from his own nose.] It's time for you to settle down.
[He grins; knowing full well that he has the advantage at this proximity.] I admit you're less boring than I thought you'd be... -But only because you fight like a gutless snake.
no subject
Would you attempt to tear down a brick wall with your fists? No. A clever man uses the appropriate tools for each situation.
[Vulpes' eyes glance over the various chains around Miguel's neck. One of his shoulders is securely pinned, making that hand useless to him. The other, however... if he can just keep Miguel distracted for a few moments longer, he might be able to use those chains to his advantage.]
no subject
Heh... Actually, the difference between you and I is that I would if I had to. That just goes to show how little you understand the willpower of a real man. So you can be as "clever" as you like- but now you understand just how far that gets you in an actual fight, don't you?
[Leaning in, he yanks Vulpes up by the neck of his hood; unaware of the man's intentions as he continues on.] Your tricks and your sneaky tactics mean nothing at this proximity. There's no worming your way out of this now.
My fists and my willpower are all the "tools"I need.
no subject
[Being yanked closer actually makes this easier. Miguel won't see him lifting his other hand and inching it closer to his body.]
However, I still find more discrete tactics to be useful. They are sneaky because the enemy refuses to acknowledge their possibility.
[And with that, Vulpes' hand darts out and tangles firmly with the chains around Miguel's neck. He then tugs sharply, aiming to choke the man with his own jewelry. He knows his grip will be extremely difficult to dislodge since he's purposefully tangled his fingers in parts of the chains for that very purpose.]

[The Spaniard thrashes wildly for a few more moments before his movements gradually become more and more weak; eyes fluttering as he struggles to maintain consciousness... but ultimately fails. The large man's eyes close and his head hangs limply; hand falling as he passes out.]
no subject
[The table is secured into the ground at each of its legs, metal welded securely to the floor in an obvious attempt to prevent people from stealing them... or maybe to avoid having them thrown around in a fight. Either way, he'll make use of one of the legs. With some effort he drags Miguel's body to the table, then after a moment of thought undoes the other man's belt and tugs it free. He then uses the strip of leather to tightly bind his hands behind him and to one of the metal bars securing the table to the floor.]
[Propping Miguel's torso up against the bar, Vulpes casually seats himself on his prisoner's legs and watches him while waiting for him to regain consciousness.]
no subject
[Still somewhat sluggish for the immediate moment, the expression on his features is initially one of vague discomfort and confusion. But once his eyes focus on Vulpes' face, he snaps; immediately reaching out to knock Vulpes back- or at least he would, if it weren't for the bindings on his wrists.]
[Breathing raggedly between coughs.] 'The Hell is this!?
[Miguel swallows; his deep voice somewhat hoarse.]
no subject
You lost.
[He seizes Miguel's jaw in a painful grip, fingers squeezing tightly as he forces the larger man to look up at him.]
And now you belong to me. [Such a statement would certainly be accurate enough back home. The Legion very frequently makes slaves of those it captures from conquered villages... it's just a shame that he really doesn't have the means to keep a slave here. Still, Miguel doesn't require an explanation. Let him draw whatever conclusions he likes.]
no subject
I don't... "belong"... to anyone.
[Clenching his jaw shut tightly, the Spaniard snarls; speaking through gritted teeth.]
Release me right now, and I wont wring your neck for suggesting that I do. [Miguel's eyes shoot daggers into the other man as he glares up through the strands of his messy hair. The brawler has never had his personal pride as insulted as it is right now.]
no subject
[He smiles at his captive in a condescending manner, wanting the man to be very clear about who's in control of this situation.]
Particularly coming from a man who was just choked into unconsciousness with his own accessories. [Vulpes' other hand reaches up to fiddle with one of the chains to emphasize his point.]
You are strong, but you have too many obvious weaknesses.
no subject
Untie me and I'll show you just how "weak" I am... You haven't even BEGUN to see what I'm capable of, pendejo!
[He cringes; kicking his legs a bit and lifting his hips in an effort to get Vulpes off of him.] Get OFF!!!
There's no point in keeping me like this; I'll never answer to you!
no subject
I've seen enough.
[Vulpes shifts around until he's straddling Miguel's legs instead, making it more difficult for the man to knock him off.]
In my experience, no one actually means it when they say that.
no subject
[Shifting uncomfortably as his captor practically straddles his lap, Miguel cringes; furrowing his brow. At Vulpes' following words, Miguel pauses; as if taking a brief moment to register them.] ..."In your experience", eh?
You've made a habit out of "owning" people, then?
no subject
[The slaves that work for the army don't really belong to any individual Legionary (with the exception of officers who take wives from the slave population). Those who live within Legion territory are more likely to own their own house slaves.]
My words were more in reference to those I torture.
[That he makes a habit of doing. After he's through with someone, very few secrets tend to remain.]
Now, what I want from you is simple. I first want you to admit defeat, and then I want you to apologize for making a nuisance of yourself. That isn't too difficult, is it?
no subject
[...And so he goes to spit- directly in Vulpes' face.]
[Apparently, not even the mention of torture did anything to quell the larger man's pure vitriol.]
Me cago en la madre que te parió.
[Suffice to say- that wasn't an apology.]
I am NOT an obedient dog for you to bark orders to. I'd rather die than bow to a snake like you.
no subject
Really? But you are a dog.
[Before Miguel has much of a chance to recover from the blow, Vulpes digs his hand back into that thick hair of his and yanks his head downward, forcing him, in a sense, to bow.]
And you will bow if I wish it.
no subject
Rrgh-! [...But when his hair is harshly tugged as a means to force his head lower, Miguel can instantly feel his blood boiling. To be subjugated and humiliated like this was an entirely different matter.]
[Miguel snaps; and with all his strength, the large man jerks his head back upward. He strains against the pain felt when strands of his hair can be felt ripping from his scalp, but the Spaniard pays it no mind- save for a low, slightly pained grunt. He glares daggers up into Vulpes' eyes and thrashes his body around some more; much like the rabid dog he was accused of being.]
Better a dog... ngh- than a little bitch who wont see me in a real fight! [The leather strip of his belt cut fiercely into the skin of his wrists as Miguel continues to yank away at them; his hips thrusting upwards in another wild attempt to get Vulpes' weight off of his legs.]
no subject
That fight was real... we simply utilized different tools. You relied on superior strength; I, on superior intellect. You might do well to think now and then.
[Miguel is thrashing around far too much. Vulpes shifts his weight and ends up straddling one of the man's legs instead of both so that he can jam one of his thighs against his groin. It'll be interesting to see if he continues jerking his hips about now.]
no subject
Gh-! [Until Vulpes jams a thigh against him. All at once the movement stops- causing Miguel to bristle and freeze up warily. The pain he felt at that was obvious in the way his eyes shut tightly and he grinds his teeth- but Miguel manages to stifle any noises outside of a short grunt.]

I wont lose to you.
