ISLAND WIDE EVENT: LIGHTS OUT
[In the later afternoon, with the sun already setting in the sky, there's the sound of something deep within the building powering down. One after another the lights pop off like a domino effect down the hall, with each room following in suite as the electrical outage worked its way through the building.
It only took a matter of seconds for the Campus to be enveloped in complete, inky darkness. Even with the proper time to adjust one's vision, it was still neigh-impossible to see. There was nothing but cold, lonely blindness.
Outside, the sun set...and it didn't rise again the next morning. The only saving grace was the starry night sky and the waning moon too keep the denizens from being completely consumed by darkness.]
((The darkness has come...RUN! Everything's the same, but now both the INSIDE and OUTSIDE of the island/campus are dark. It's much easier to see outside though, thanks to the stars and moon in the sky. Characters are free to improvise light sources, but nothing electrical that needs to plug in will be functioning. If something runs on batteries, it'll last until those die.
This event will stretch until the end of Sept. 18th, feel free to tag in to this post, or to make your own threads! Have fun!))

I'm the one who bore these wounds so he didn't have to; why the hell would you punish me for it?
no subject
[But the look on his face isn't quite as nasty as before, almost... teasing.]
Though if you're doing what you can to spare him of it... I think I can let it slide.

I lost my temper at that guy, and he lost his mind. Because of me, he went crazy and attacked us. But... the only reason my host is out at all is because he desires freedom so badly that it drives him nuts.
[His temper eases a little at that response. Though the teasing riles him up, at least he can tell it's not so much of a hostile response.]
I could have just kept in control the entire time until it was healed without a problem. I've done that for wounds he's taken before. But he was willing to bear the pain if it meant being in control some of the time. He doesn't like losing too much time and these wounds are going to take a while to heal.

S-shut up! It's not noble! [It's more like a twisted sense of honor. It's not like his host let him grant his wish the last time, and he doesn't have any fondness for him, but he still doesn't mind giving something back occasionally.]
I use this body a lot, so it's only fair I give something back. Call it rent, if you want!
no subject
Heheheh... Rent, huh? I'll keep that in mind.
[...What the hell does he mean by that?]

Now sit back and let me finish with the wounds.
no subject
[Looking almost like a pouty child, he obediently sits back.
...He doesn't even seem to care that he has no trousers on.]
no subject
But that grin hasn't left his face.]
no subject
[He watches in a blatantly paranoid manner despite the gentleness of the touch. How odd... Feeling this from someone he dislikes this much.]
Tch... What's so funny?

[Like Malik.]

Heh heh heh heh...
[It's a dark, eerie laugh, the quiet match to Bakura's own.]
no subject
[If this were anyone but a version of the Pharaoh, he might have found that hot.]
Heh... I see. You really are a twisted boy...
no subject
[He just laughs a bit louder, as if something about that is utterly hilarious to him.]

[He leaves it at that, though, going back to finish up his tending to the wounds.]
By the way... how did you like your Penalty Game?
no subject
[He'd ask what the other Yugi meant, but he doesn't think the guy would tell him anyway. But the reminder of that just makes him freeze up like a statue.]
Bastard... Don't remind me of that wretched thing!
no subject
[He grins that dark, twisted grin, flashing those cruel red eyes up to Bakura briefly.]
It seemed quite fitting for you, too...
no subject
[His fingers curl into fists at his side. 'Fitting'? He'd have gone mad if it hadn't broken when it did...]
I'm not nervous!
