[EFFECT ROOM] Dresses for the Dressing Room!

[Welcome to Lapin Angelique! Everyone who enters this room will suddenly find themselves wearing a Gothic Lolita Dress. They may also have other gothic accessories such as tiny little hats, frilly parasols, vampire capes, or spooky plushies.

Bizarre things will happen if you try to take off the clothes. Maybe it will just be downright impossible, they're stuck to your body. Maybe you'll start to FEEL GOTH and the BLACKNESS OF YOUR HEART compels you to put the clothes back on. Maybe you start taking off the clothes, only to find that doing so causes you to slowly morph into a bunny until you put them back on (or until you're a bunny. But was that REALLY worth it?) It's all up to fate!

Either way, these dresses are probably staying on, at least until the effect wears off. Which could be anything from a couple hours to the rest of the day.]

[She finally does have to stop laughing, but it's more because she's utterly out of breath than anything. Phew...]

[Bakura straight-up drops her off his shoulder onto the floor below. He could have dropped her into his blanket nest.

But he didn't.]

[She's in too good of a mood now to care. Ah, if only she had a camera...

She might have to go find one.

As it is, she stands up, dusting herself off and going into the bedroom to tap the end tables with her hand, then taps the closet with her foot.]

I doubt it'll let you change, but in one of these spots, maybe.

[Wordlessly Bakura rips open the closet to find--his robes and shendyt! He's honestly surprised this girl wasn't lying...and that these things were here at all.

He checks the end tables next to find all his golden jewelry, his knife, and the Millennium Eye all safe and sound.

Without speaking, he shoots Karasu an annoyed, but satisfied look as he attempts to remove his dress again, but to no avail.]

Kh! Why can't I get this thing off...?!

Magic, probably. I've heard those rooms don't let you go until a full day or so.

Couldn't tell you for sure.

[Bakura hastily grabs his knife from the draw at that answer, brandishing it and...

Just trying to cut the dress off. He's sawing through it and not getting results.

His frustration boils over at last and he chucks the knife at the floor, just narrowly missing Karasu's foot.]

...I can't stand this thing! It's too constricting...!

[At least on his chest and arms. He's okay with the dress portion.]

[Whoa hey! She jumps back in surprised, flashing him a glare.]

Watch it!

[Geeze...]

I'm going to suffocate, gghh!

[Bakura storms out of the barren bedroom (save for the skeletons of the bunk beds) and heads back into the living room, flopping down onto his nest to writhe and attempt to feel at least somewhat comfy.]

[Karasu shakes her head at that, sighing a little. Sure, it wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world, but really, he was being a big baby about it!

She leaves the room again herself, casting a glance at the Thief King before heading for the door.

Sheesh...]

Come on! You know how to take this thing off, don't you?!

[Not so fast, Karasu. He's remembered a use for you.]

I know how to take it off if it's a normal dress. And if the forced magic dresses were normal enough to get off, do you think I'd still be in one?

Just try it! [He barks before lowering his voice in a begrudging explanation.] If it's magic, it doesn't necessarily mean its affects are tied to everyone.

All right, all right...

[Sighing, she goes back over.]

Stand up, come over here, and hold still. I have to look over it and see how it comes undone.

[Bakura, for once, does as he's told and stands, stiffly as it may be. He really did look like his chest and arms were ready to busy the seams of the dress. It's not that he was so buff so much as the fact he was muscular enough, and the dress was small enough.

[Seriously, this is like something out of a comedy show. She really regrets not having a camera for this!

Oh well. Once he stands still, she starts running her hands along him, checking for a way to get it off. ...Ah! Here it is!

Just remove this and that... and then...]

Okay. It should come off now.

... [As soon as he's given the go ahead, Bakura practically rips the thing over his headd, getting stuck halfway through for a moment before finally tossing it aside.

So yeah he's naked now, but he actually just beelines for the bedroom to change into his proper clothes without saying anything. Including "thank you".]

[She didn't expect a "thank you," anyway. She's just sort of disappointed it actually did come off.

Oh well. She heads for the door again.]

Ahhh...much better!

[Bakura steps back out his room, placing his hands over his chest and then grabbing the inner hem of his robe to adjust it accordingly.]

I can breathe again, h-hehehe....

I'd avoid rooms like that in the future, then. They might end up putting you in something worse. Like a wedding dress.

And as hilarious as that would be, I don't think I can afford to lose the ribs.

A wedding dress? What kind of sadistic dress requires you to lose your ribs in order to wear it?! Gyahaha!

[T-too funny... He'd like to see her squeezed into one of those!]

It's a dress for when someone gets married. And when I said "lose my ribs," I mean from laughing at how ridiculous you would look in it, not to wear the dress.

Marriage...? [The word didn't ring any bells, but finding out the joke had been a jab at him made his expression turn hateful in a way, even if he was still smiling.]

If that happens, I'll just have to shut you up.

[She knows he will, too, so it's more a noise of understanding than anything. Why does she bother talking to him? Those cute moments aren't even remotely worth all this.

Sigh. She heads for the door yet again, hoping to get out this time.]

[Bakura feels up his freed torso again, letting out a pleased sigh.]
