CAMPUS WIDE EVENT: I SEE LONDON, I SEE FRANCE~
[Everybody sees everyone's underpants!
By whatever sadistic, poltergeist-like conscious that ruled this place, everything that isn't undergarments has gone missing. Luckily for everyone, tank tops and socks also count as an undergarments, along with the usual.]
((ooc: event will last until the 20th~ available clothing are: socks, plain tank tops, underwear/boxers/etc. and bras. UNDERAGED CHARACTERS DO NOT HAVE TO BE AFFECTED, but if you want to that's fine too.
Have fun, tag your series title, and so on!))

[Bakura is not fond of cats. They're not too fond of him, either. There's a reason Ryou never got a pet to help with the crippling loneliness, after all.]
I find it hard to believe that cats have gone extinct by your time.

[She's rather sorry there isn't more tea. It's starting to get cold again. Folding her arms over her chest, and with a twisted grin, Sibyll inches towards the grouchy spirit.]
no subject
[He eyes her suspiciously, leaning back in his chair in a wary manner.]
Most animals can sense what I am. It's only natural.
no subject
[She begins to meander about, making circles that get ever so much closer to Bakura.]
no subject
[Like you. Stop creeping him out, woman.]
If you're so desperate for tea, you can go to the lounge and make your own.
...and how did you know I was from a desert?
no subject
[The courier reaches out to take his burned arm in her warm hands, but lets go fairly quickly.]
You've mentioned Egypt before. Sure, my world is a nuclear wasteland, but schooling does still exist.
no subject
...I was lucky. Not many can say they were smote by God and walked away. At any rate, I don't remember much of anything from back then.
no subject
[There's actual pity in her voice now, and her eyes flick to his face, looking for traces of the boy.]
no subject
[There's no sign of him. Bakura's keeping him pretty heavily sedated.]
no subject
[She hops up to sit on the table and watch the spirit.]
Ever had that happen to you? Losing your memory?
no subject
Of course. I don't remember anything about my past, or who I was when I was alive, except for the fact that I was apparently a muscle-bound idiot. He's here, if you were curious.
On top of that, there's gaps in my memory too.
no subject
Really? Side effect of getting stuck in a necklace?
[Like hell was she going to tell him that she was in the same boat.]
no subject
The memory gaps... I can't explain them away so easily. It's strange. Usually I can remember anything that happens, even if I'm not in control... but these black spots are coming out of nowhere, now. Maybe it's just hitting an overload of information.
[Or maybe Ryou's hiding something. Nah. That can't be.]
no subject
[Her voice takes on an odd tone. It's not quite sympathy. Nor is it pity. Is it...understanding? Her expression doesn't give away any additional clues as to what she's thinking.
Reaching out, she just barely touches the necklace with her fingers]
no subject
It was a shock at first... waking up in that thing with no knowledge of anything. It became clear pretty fast that nobody else had a clue who I was either, so I just ended up drifting around for a while. Helped a few people out, fucked a few people over, robbed a few tombs... Mostly just hung around and tried to learn what I could from peoples' minds, since Shadi wasn't being much of a help.
no subject
[The warmth was nice, but she refrained from playing with the magical pendant any further. Instead, she folds her arms back around herself to keep warm while listening to Bakura.]
no subject
He doesn't like me. Can't imagine why.
[His voice is filled with amusement.]
no subject
You said you sometimes remember flashes. Like what?
no subject
[He can't hide his laughter. If nothing else, he's not embarrassed to admit he's an asshole. But the other bit...]
It's just little pieces. Nothing too personal. [Closing his eyes, he focuses. He won't tell her about the Blue-Eyes, or the Door to Darkness... What else does he remember, and didn't just learn about secondhand?]
I remember... [Hm? What is this? His voice turns thoughtful, fingers tapping against the table.] ...A woman speaking to me. I can't understand the words, but I know what they mean. She's telling me to hide. I can hear something like screaming in the background, but she sounds more resigned than frightened.
Hmph. I can't remember her face. Just her voice. [Opening his eyes, he glowers irritably into the air.]
Things like that.
no subject
Okay, maybe a little.]No good memories, then?
no subject
No. My memories tend to be tied into the situation that triggers them. So all I remember is glimpses of fights, usually. Occasionally flickers that point me in the right direction.
I didn't even have that before I made contact with the Millennium Puzzle.
no subject
Point you in the direction of anything in particular? Or just your overall goal of killing another spirit stuck in a bit of gold possessing another kid?
no subject
[And wild horses couldn't make him tell her about Kul Elna.]
But that's not important. I already had my sights set on the Pharaoh from long before that. Feelings transcend memories sometimes, you know?
no subject
[No emotion in the world had ever brought her any closer to her forgotten, abandoned life.]
