CAMPUS WIDE EVENT: EVERYTHING AND THE KITCHEN SINK

[Hopefully everybody likes waking up outside.

Because as it were, in the middle of the night when everybody had been asleep or lulled into a sudden one by the sheer weight of the air around them...the Campus disappeared in its entirety. Left behind was only the cool surface of the concrete foundation.

For now it seems the residents were left to fend for themselves in the wilderness of the island. Not even the voice from over the intercom would comfort them.]

((ooc: the school has disappeared, along with all the NPCs and everything that was inside! no opt-out areas this time around. The temperature is cool during the day, and colder at night.

The event will last until October 20th, and I'll post a closer to signify it. Everything will be returned to its rightful place then.))

And then he just looks angry.]

[Oh god, it's at least true in the sense that he wasn't watching.]

Oy, oy... what's with all the noise? I was trying to sleep.

[Bakura sits back, shooting Malik a dry look. Ryou, you little shit, he'd kick your ass if you were tangible.]

You know if you're too loud, even my abilities won't stop us waking up, right? What's with all the fuss?

[The only reason Ryou would have been able to see if is Bakura allowed it--]

You bastard! [At that familiar change in demeanor, Malik reaches out grab Bakura by the arm, pulling him forward. His headache and temperature were flaring dangerously back now.] Did you knowingly let him see us?!

[Shit. Bakura blinks at him, startled.]

The hell happened to your face?

[He knows, but like hell he's acting anything but normal right now.]

Nevermind that, answer the damn question!

[His grip tightens, fingers pressing harshly into Bakura's skin.]

Idiot... [He barely reacts to the pain in his arm, leaning close and meeting Malik's eyes to appear more sincere.]

What kind of person do you take me for? He probably woke up on his own... And since he wasn't trying to take over the body, I didn't feel it. If he did, I didn't notice. I only had eyes for you.

Feh...! To let him just wake up like that without knowing it is dangerous, what if we had been discussing something important?!

[Accepting that explanation, Malik reluctantly releases Bakura's arm and lets out a heavy sigh. He didn't feel like arguing right now, not when he felt like this.] You need to be more careful...I can't believe he...

[Malik doesn't even what to think of how he might have looked...after watching those videos, he had far too graphic of an idea!]

I usually suppress him pretty hard, but since we were just going to the beach, I didn't think of it.

[He pinches the bridge of his nose in irritation. Dammit, Ryou, that could have been bad...]

It's not like he saw anything bad, so why are you so pissed? I doubt he'll come out on his own again for a while anyway. He'll probably avoid you like the plague for a bit.

How do you call that "not bad"?! Now he's going to think you have some sort of dominance over me!

[Letting out a frustrated growl, Malik reaches over to pull his shirt over his head. Once the shirt is aside he works on his shorts.]

And it's just going to be annoying if he runs away every time I see him! After all, I need to repay him for what he did to my face.

[That's because he does... but he doesn't bother saying it. He just watches, with interest, before leaning forward, invading Malik's personal space.]

That'll definitely make him avoid you for life... poor fool. H-heh heh, they're going to think you're being abused...

But you know, it's not a bad look for you...

[He leans forward, before Malik can jerk away, to trail his tongue over the injured eye.

Who's "they"? [He says incredulously, pausing in his ministrations as Bakura gets close. For a moment he thinks the other boy is about to make a move on him even in this state.

But then Bakura's way too close, and that wet tongue trails across his sensitive eyelid, causing Malik to shudder and shove the other boy's face away.]

Ow! That hurts, you fool. And don't compliment it!

Hyahahahahaha! Malik-sa~ma! Anyone that knows of our relationship is going to think I've been abusing you. Heheh...

[His eyes are bright with mischief.]

Don't get too cold, Malik-sama, or else I'm going to have to warm you up again. So hurry up with your bath.

...Nobody's going to think that just because my eye is bruised.

[Malik slips his shorts off, standing up to turn around when he goes to remove his undergarments. And just to make sure Bakura can't see anything, he cups himself protectively in one hand as he slips into the water. The water is cold at first touch, making him shiver and force him to take his time, but eventually he submerges himself to his mid-torso whilst still crouching down so as not to sit on the bottom.

Only as an afterthought does he humour Bakura's last "joke".]

I'm already warm enough. You're not touching me.

[fluffydeathdealer]

[Oh dear, Malik, you think that's enough to make him less of a dick? He's already seen you naked, after all. Lying on his back beside the stream, he folds his hands behind his head, not even looking at Malik.]

Then why did you bring the blanket? If you're already warm enough, isn't that kind of pointless?

At any rate, if you're that bothered by my presence, I can leave you to it on your own. I'm sure I'm wanted elsewhere...

[Anything Malik would have said about the blanket is forgotten at the implications between Bakura's last words.

Malik feels a sharp pang in his chest. His words are as bitter and harsh as the cold air itself.]

Don't sound so eager to leave! I feel miserable and you're just going to leave me here...

[fluffydeathdealer]

'Eager'...?! [His voice is filled with irritation.] You're the one that seems eager for me to leave!

Well I'm not--ughh.

[Malik just shakes his head in irritation and then dunks his head under the water. He stays there for a minute before coming back up, his wet hair clinging to his face and dripping water down his chest and back.]

Hh... [He lets out a heavy sigh and runs his hands through his hair. relishing the coolness of the water on his heated skin.]

[fluffydeathdealer]

Tch... just don't stay in there too long, okay? It might feel good now, but too long will have you feeling worse.

[Damn, it's chilly. Even he feels a little put off by it. Reaching out, he snags the blanket while he waits for Malik, tugging it over reluctantly. He doesn't like making it obvious when he feels cold, dammit. Weaknesses like this are for humans.

Malik really does look good like that, with his skin glistening from the water.]

[Malik rests in the water for a little while, finally coming out when he seems to be doing more shivering than relaxing.

Modestly cupping himself again, Malik steps out of the water and gives a harsh shudder as the cold air reacts with the water on his skin, chilling him to the bone. Using his shirt he quickly dries himself off and tosses the top aside before pulling on the rest of his clothes.

Taking a few steps towards Bakura, he holds his hand out.]

O-oy...give m-me the blanket! I'm f-f-freezing!

[fluffydeathdealer]

[Rising to his feet, he holds the blanket around himself possessively. In one overly dramatic moment, he moves, slinging it around Malik's shoulders - and steps forward too, so that the blanket settles around them both.]

Malik~. We can share, can't we? I'm cold too, you know...

[obeytherod]

[Malik doesn't even have time to react before he's suddenly in Bakura's arms, the blanket slung gratefully over his shoulders. He was still shivering a bit, but the body heat combined with the insulation was quickly heating him back up.

He sighs, enjoying the heat, but still having to begrudgingly resign himself to the gesture.]

Let's at least sit down first...

[Bakura nods, bringing him carefully down to the ground to sit beside him, still pressed close. He feels warmer too now. Mm... Malik's warmth was the best kind.]

Better?

[obeytherod]

Yeah. [Malik adjusts himself a bit to get comfortable before fully settling against Bakura. His hair was still relatlively wet, making it hard to get too warm, and for that he was grateful--at least it kept his head cool.]

After we warm up...we can head back. I wonder if your traps caught us another bird to eat.

[fluffydeathdealer]

[He nods casually, leaning his head against Malik's with a soft sigh. How comfortable... he almost doesn't want to move.]

If it hasn't, it won't take me long to catch one. They're stupid enough that I can herd them into the traps.
