[Malik had found something while looking through the East Wing. Just what that "something" was becomes apparent when an engine roars to life, and the skid of tires on tiled flooring echoes through the halls.

Sure...sure, he could just walk his new bike outside...but where was the fun in that?! This wasn't an ATV, and it likely wasn't going to fair well in the spotty terrain outdoors...

So he's just going to take a few smooth-riding laps in the halls before he goes to test it outside.

When somebody gets in his way, he rears the bike back onto one wheel, skidding a few feet on the floor before the front tire slams back down and he comes to a stop.]

What, are you trying to get yourself killed?

[Leaning back and crossing his legs, Malik makes himself comfortable.]

...Blood disease? [He sounds more confused than offended, but it doesn't take him long to figure out why Ryou is asking.] No.

[...he hopes the nurse has the resources to run tests like that because once he's out of here he's checking the hell out of this.]

Never at all? Didn't you even think about possible infection when you did the blood oath?

Infection? [He lets out a derisive laugh.] Neither of us are sick, Ryou.

[He's looking a bit more irritated by that second question. Mostly because the new word throws him off enough to not be sure what Ryou is referring to.] ..."Condoms"? I don't know what that is. And for what stuff? Stop being so vague!

You wouldn't know if there was a blood disease in your family because you need to be tested for it!

[Ryou winces a little. Really? Malik didn't even know? Thinking about it, the nurse gave him some last time he was there, murmuring to him about safety. She seemed to think- oh god. Did everyone think they were screwing?]

You... you're meant to put them on your... uhm. [He points at Malik's crotch.] When you do... intimate stuff.

Have you really been messing around with the other me without either of you talking about safety?!

[Well, Malik was pretty sure he didn't have a blood disease, so he didn't see any reason to go find out.

He folds his arms now, looking a bit embarrassed (not to mention surprised) when Ryou suddenly points to his crotch.]

... [Not wishing to appear caught off-guard for too long, he lets out another chuckle.] Uhh? Safety from what...? It's not like it's going to bite me.

And boys can't get pregnant. [He knew that.]

Ryou clutches his hair with a helpless sound of frustration, for once actually annoyed. It was bad enough being used as a puppet by this guy, knowing they were doing things with his body he'd never agree to normally, but this?]

But! What if you're carrying a disease and you give it to me?! Pregnancy isn't the only thing that can go wrong with things like this! You should at least ask the nurse to check you over!

[Malik shrugs and flops back against the armrest and spreading himself out across the couch. Ryou suddenly becomes a footrest.]

I won't! I already told you I'm not sick. Besides, how would that give you a disease?

[It was less a question and more a statement to mock Ryou's paranoia. Hell, he still wasn't sure why the whole "blood oath" thing was a problem.]

[His face is burning, oh god, why. He shoves Malik's feet off of him, irritably.]

Blood diseases and sexually transmitted ones are carried in bodily fluids, Malik! You wouldn't even know if you were sick! That's why you need to be tested!

[The shove surprises him, and Malik growls in response as he bends his knees to plant his feet on the couch cushion instead.]

What? [This was news to him, if it was even true.] Whatever, I'm fine.

You don't know that! You should come with me to the nurse and get tested!

[He puts his hands on Malik's knees, staring over at him.]

...though it might be too late.

I don't feel like it.

[He yanks one knee out from under Ryou's hand and then the other before setting them both down again.]

Kehkeh...I guess you're just out of luck then, Ryou!

It's too late for me anyway! You've already gotten your blood inside of me, after all.

Besides, the other me is constantly making me wake up with the taste of blood, so there's probably no hope of my getting out of this healthy anyway.

Blood? Kehkeh...that's not the only thing I've gotten inside you. [He's saying it just to fluster Ryou, but Malik almost immediately regrets having done so.

That memory was gross, and embarrassing! ...Did he really kiss that mouth?!

He covers his face with a hand and lets out a groan.]

[Ew ew ew okay brb toothbrushing time. His face is so red you could probably fry fish on it.]

... [Malik's just going to...sit here...with his hands over his burning face.]

[A few minutes later, Ryou returns with a fresher smile that he won't be showing just yet. A thought occured to him in there. It's possible the other him just took over for a long time, right? It's happened before. That means he can't assume Malik is the bottom in this relationship, idiot though he seems. Meep.]

Uhm... Malik-kun? You meant in my mouth, right?

[Oh god why are you making him say this, you jerk!]

[By the time Ryou comes back out, Malik's managed to compose himself again. He's also sitting up again, shoved off into the corner of the couch like a grumpy teenager.

Ryou's question manages to fluster him all over again.] You fool, don't ask me something like that!

B-but it's important! I need to know if I'm still a virgin or not!

Nope, this is him squeaking at his own bluntness and diving back into the bathroom.]

... [Malik just...stares at Ryou as he runs off to the bathroom again, mulling over that frantic reaction.

He calls out to him from the couch.]

Oy, Ryou. I've heard that word before, but what's it mean?

[While he knows what it's related to, but as far as the actually meaning goes, he really doesn't know. He's only heard it in passing.]

[Malik better not be teasing him. He'd really better not. Because he feels like he's going to explode from embarassment.]

[Malik takes a minute to decipher that flurry of speech.]
