CAMPUS WIDE EVENT: EVERYTHING AND THE KITCHEN SINK

[Hopefully everybody likes waking up outside.

Because as it were, in the middle of the night when everybody had been asleep or lulled into a sudden one by the sheer weight of the air around them...the Campus disappeared in its entirety. Left behind was only the cool surface of the concrete foundation.

For now it seems the residents were left to fend for themselves in the wilderness of the island. Not even the voice from over the intercom would comfort them.]

((ooc: the school has disappeared, along with all the NPCs and everything that was inside! no opt-out areas this time around. The temperature is cool during the day, and colder at night.

The event will last until October 20th, and I'll post a closer to signify it. Everything will be returned to its rightful place then.))

[Shit, bitch, motherfucker, why did the school have to disappear in the middle of October? The only real place she knows to stay that might not be miserable is a cave or something somewhere, which is why she'd set out into the forest to try to find such a place.

Of course, the problem was, pajamas were not the best thing to go cave hunting in. The cold and the rough trekking is enough to wind and irritate her, so before too long she sets her back to Bakura's tree, checking her feet with a groan.]

Couldn't wait until at least spring to do this, no, it had to do it in fall...

[Bakura had seen her coming, but he said nothing as he simply sat back and watched her approach his perch. When she finally settles down he leans over, his mop of white hair hanging down to frame his darker face.

Feeling mischievous, he grabs a large bug crawling along the tree trunk and casually drops it over her head.]

[The feeling of something dropping on her head causes her to reach up confusedly...

...and then immediately whack it right off, making a face at the thing.]

Stupid bugs. Shoo! I don't care if you were here first, I'm not in the mood.

...? [She wasn't even startled by it?

Whatever. He'll just swipe the nearest squirrel and drop that on her instead.]

[THAT gets a reaction, mostly because the squirrel dives down into her top.]

OUT OUT OUT OUT GAH! OUT!

[She yanks the entire thing off after a moment, dropping the frazzled squirrel to the ground and kicking it so it runs off.]

And stay outta there, you stupid thing!

[Well, at least the Thief King's getting a nice top view of breasts.]

H-hehe... [He tries to hold it back, but then seeing her kick the thing just threw him over the edge.] H-HAHAHAHA!

[It was well worth exposing his cover for that! And he'll be more than happy to take the view that went with it!]

[She yanks her top back on, looking up to see who was the jerk...

[Karasu adjusts her shirt some, trying to get out the bits of fur and whatever else the squirrel left behind.]

I don't think I've ever seen anyone steal a whole building.

[That's all dripping with sarcasm, though her common sense suggests she doesn't mock the guy.]

I wish! [She may be sarcastic, but Bakura's own voice is just dripping with amusement to counter it.] But even my hands aren't that sticky.

All I ask is that you wait until spring if you're going to try that. We really don't need to be caught out in this in winter.

[She may be joking, but he replies as if serious.

Honestly, the cold does bother him a little, but it hasn't been very long either. He's not sure if he can deal with this kind of chill long term...]

[She rolls her eyes a bit and decides not to mention it was sarcasm, rubbing her legs some. If he's listening, he might be able to catch her mumbling something about "hunting" and "transforming," though she's talking to herself quietly enough.]

...A bear? [The way he says it doesn't sound like he's questioning her capabilities so much as he's questioning what a fucking bear is.]

[The Thief King suddenly descends, hoping down a few branches before landing on the forest floor below.

[She mentally reaches down, tapping into that energy again. Blue-white light washes over her, Karasu taking a few more steps back for the necessary distance.]

...! [Bakura takes a step back, his expression betraying just how shocked he was. The last thing he expected was this girl to turn into that!]

[As the shock gave way to excitement, Bakura realized something. This girl could be useful, even if he's not sure how just yet.

Whatever she was now, that had to be the form of a god-type Ka, which meant she'll likely be hard to convince. He had one himself. The Ka didn't say everything about a person, only what the inherent morality of their Ba was--not what it becomes. He might have a chance.

But without Zorc's aid, without the spirits of Kul Elna as his army...he lacked influence. He'd have to tread carefully and see if perhaps his Akh couldn't be of some use. After all, his Akh had darkness and powers that he lacked.]

I take it back! H-hehe...I give. You're much more capable than I'd have thought. But combining your Ba and Ka like that just to prove a point...don't you realize what you've done?! You can never turn back!

[She reverts, stretching her arms a little and giving him a puzzled look. Combining the what with the what and what now?

Well, at least he took it back. That's satisfied the immature part of her.]

What are you talking about? I never "combined" anything. I've been like this since I was born.
